When I read that this bastard, half dead before the battle even starts blocked Rosmontis's attack with his bare hand I truly understood how insanely powerful he is. Took me like 3 hours to get through that battle. I have respect for the storywriters to allow their characters to die, progressing the story without resorting to cheap tactics so they can cash on the fan favorites.

@@VIOLET-fi7kt that was due to the fact that the world failed him. Kal'tsit monologued about how Buldrokkas'tee was treated with injustice by the world. He first betrayed Kazdel because he wanted to help the Ursus people gain their freedom, he betrayed Ursus due to how they treated the infected and his family, and then he betrayed reunion due to Talulah's betrayal. He then again betrayed reunion AND Terra by sparing Amiya, the prophesized disaster of Terra. He betrays not because of weakness, but exactly because he's too strong. Too strong to let fate have its way with him, hence his last and final betrayal was his biggest one yet. He went against his own beliefs and let someone take the mantle of rejecting fate: Amiya.

Can people finally understand that Patriot spit on fate's face by going against what he should do according to the prophecy and chose to believe in Amiya. Kal'tsit wrongfully thought he succumbed to it but he didn't.

He was powerful. However... what has he gotten out of his desires? He lost. His son. His daughter, Yelena. His wife. His bloodline. His Ursus. The aegis for the infected. Fate and Terra played a heinous crime against Buldrokkas'tee. No matter how much he defied fate, he still faced it powerless. The prophecy still occurred, he saw another prophecy of The Lord of Fiends. He became to believe he cannot escape fate. So he thus adapted - Buldrokkas'tee the unchanging has changed and decided to save the world from Amiya. But he still failed. Oripathy was his second bully. In the illusion created by Amiya, despite his resilience and conviction of him being not worthy, he still was delighted to reunite with all of his beloveds. Soon to be tricked even harder when the momentary pleasure that broke the cumulative two centuries old misery was just an illusion. Created by his enemies. Alas, it's very tragic. The Platonic Tragedy. I may call. I swear it upon all my being... Buldrokkas'tee... I'll revive you in heaven and ask god to make you real and reunite with all of us and your beloveds. Together, We are a family. Now, back then, and forever. Wait for me Buldrokkas'tee. May you find peace during that time.

He understood that his story was over and even if he could deny fate in his last moments it wouldn't change a thing, so he passed the torch. It is up to Amiya now if he died a fool or not.
