******* I re-uploaded this video because KZbin slapped an age-restriction on the original version (after 365,000 views), which drastically reduces who else will see it.
The only difference between this video and the original is the removal of 2 clips (at 15:50 and 16:14) showing Antifa protestors attacking people.
I will keep the original version up as well. But if you want to watch that version, you need to be signed into KZbin.
**************
I did a short video on citizen journalists, like Tim Pool. But the entire story of Pool’s career deserves more time.

Tim Pool is a very successful journalist.
He has millions of subscribers on multiple channels.
Yet Pool never went to journalism school. In fact, he didn’t even finish high school.
Pool became a respected reporter, just by doing it--going there and covering things the mainstream media miss.
He’s reported from global hotspots, gone into the middle of riots, and exposed media bias.
This is my full interview with Pool.

0:21: 🎥 Tim Pool, a successful reporter without formal education, has gained respect by covering stories missed by mainstream media. 3:01: 📰 The speaker criticizes the education system and journalism, highlighting the Covington Catholic High School incident. 5:45: 📺 The speaker discusses the lack of fact-checking by mainstream media and their subsequent lawsuits, as well as their declining ratings, and shares a story about being invited to appear on the Joe Rogan show. 8:18: 🗣 The conversation on the Joe Rogan podcast is more interesting and raw compared to scripted interviews on CNN, often discussing drugs and libertarian culture. 11:05: 🤔 The speaker argues that the left has changed and become more intolerant, and that a fringe faction is wrongly being portrayed as representative of the entire left. 14:24: 🔴 The speaker criticizes a particular faction of the left for saying ridiculous things and engaging in violent protests. 16:51: 🗣 The speaker discusses their experience of being falsely accused of being friends with someone and being labeled as alt-right during protests. 19:46: 🗣 Tim Pool discusses the one-sided nature of political labeling and the controversy surrounding 'no go zones' in Sweden. 22:28: 😕 Crime in Sweden is increasing, but it is still much lower than in most American cities. People like Stossel and Pool are keeping truth/sanity alive. I value truth, therefore I disassociate myself from those who do not. I joined the LP in '73, was a delegate at the '74 convention, and read an interview with a prominent LP celeb, in which he said: "If lying helps, then I say lie". He was referring to the LP lying to the press, e.g., claiming our convention had 10,000 when it was 2000. Most of my fellow LP friends thought it was of no consequence, a personal choice. I was not dismissive of lying, no matter how small. It was then that I started to doubt my LP membership. I quit the LP in '80, regretting my wasted time/money. In retrospect, it seems so trivial a lie, considering the MSM distortions of reality, DAILY. It's frightening to see, on TV, where they used to be better liars. It's as if they have all gone completely insane, and it's mainstream. Add to this the extreme violence, by LEOs (conservatives) and liberal protesters. What does it all mean? Where is it going?

@J Watson With the utmost respect I don't think Tim is leaning Right as, or not as change of political focus at least. I think it's because the excesses of many on the Left have forced themselves to the top of the agenda, and constitute a bigger danger to American society now.

@J Watson Maybe he just learned that the left has nothing more to offer. There is barely a good thing to say about the Biden administration and the left demonized him for years, how is anybody surprised that his political views shifted.
