Having encountered Carpet Sample in real life - you could smell him from 10 ft away over all the other con funk. It wasn't like a skunk. It wasn't like weed. It wasn't like trash. It was its own brand of putrid stench that I've never encountered before or since. I had the displeasure of being trapped in an elevator with him. Didn't make eye contact. Didn't try to engage in conversation with him. Just got out of the elevator as quick as possible by pressing a floor lower than him. The best way I can describe the stench up close was a porta-potty that's had its fill on a hot summer day at a chili cook-off.

Hey ya'll! I'm that bird fursuiter who appears at around 1:22 for the background footage in the video. I watched the whole video from start to end, and I wanted to say the video was well produced, well edited, and gave me insight onto someone in the fandom I did not know existed until this day. As to comment on the cleanliness of fursuits: I am so sorry everyone who watched this video had to learn about someone who is extremely uncleanly with the care of their fursuit. Most furries (including myself) who own fursuits take great responsibility in cleaning them. I often compare owning a fursuit to owning a car. If you were to spend $6000 on a car, you would do your damn best to keep that car in good condition. Fursuits are no different. Seeing as how I spent well over $3000 to own a fursuit, I spend a lot of time making sure my suit is as clean as can possibly be. This means using specific brushing techniques, scrubbing the suit down with soap and water, and letting the suit air dry for hours on end. Even when wearing the suit, I have special clothing (sweat resistant underarmor clothing to be exact) to ensure the lining on the inside of the suit does not get damaged. I know the furry stereotype is that fursuiters are often sweaty and stinky at conventions, but it honestly is not the case. 99% of fursuiters spend so much time taking care of their suit, and this one guy making these weird unkempt plush fursuits honestly disgusts me. It is so disingenuous to how much time and care us fursuiters take into making sure our huge purchase lasts for years to come. I'm glad they're banned from cons, and I hope I never have to meet them. I also wanted to leave one small criticism of the video. To begin, I hella respect the time, effort, and voiceover that was put into making this video (dude your voice acting is hella insane). Ya even kept the respect for furries up to the maximum for the entire video, and made sure to only discuss this one person. My only wish is that a fursuit parade was not shown in the background when words like "z**philia" were shown on the screen. I don't want anyone screenshotting that and giving furries a bad rep, ya know? (especially since my suit and a lot of my friends are shown right after the word "z**philia" disappears). For future videos, when discussing sensitive topics, I would suggest a black background for a brief period of time just to separate the background from the sensitive topic itself. Or maybe showing the SCP plushsuit in the background instead would have been better? Other than that, everything else was well executed and I thoroughly enjoyed the video. I can't wait to watch your channel grow from here! Anyway, ya'll stay safe, and please stay cleanly.

So zoophiles, pedophile (or "babyfurs" as they sometimes call themselves) abusers, rapists, or hateful furries are always shunned from the community. Zoophiles and baby furs have made their own "communities" but hide behind the furry community to save their asses when they get in trouble. Just like how maps hide behind the lgbtq community when THEY get in trouble. So if you see pictures (drawings) of young furries or animals in sexual positions, just know that the furry community doesn't condon that and the artist has probably already been shunned for it. We take great pride in our fursuits and hold them to a hide standard. So cleaning them and ourselves is very important for when we go out in them. As a Greymuzzle(In the fandom since 1996) . The zoo, pedo etc people are in the fandom for sure, but they are not welcome, wanted or accepted. You have these types of people in all fandom's. So it's not specific to Furry, what makes them more noticeable is that Furry tends to be very open, accepting and tolerant. In fact, i've noticed these types have been increasing in visible numbers over the years. None the less, they do not represent the majority of the fandom, just as murrsuiters do not. It's still a great community to be part of.

I really love weird and gross looking items ( like old dolls etc ) and I remember coming across this abomination of a suit and was jsut told that it was made from scrap fabrics and carpet. I didn’t know who the owner was or what the suit was ( animal and a character wise ) but I liked how it looked, it was really stood out and had a strange take on suits, don’t get me wrong it was a disgusting looking suit, but that’s why I liked it. But uhh yeah, now that i’ve watched this video, and saw who this guy was, and what the suit is made out of. My opinions have changed :)
