Model 3 costs less with more range and you own the battery. I like the idea of BAS but 47K for empty shell+ 21k for battery it’s in same price range as of Mercedes EQC. But if they can offer it for same price as they have in China 30K or even 35K, that will be a killer deal.

Ya unfortunately the battery rent has do to with some German laws and warranty issues so they've to do it in a different way than china. Generally they try to compete more wirh upper middle class rather than than Tesla middle class cars.

Battery swap makes sense. Car body can last a long time if kept well. Buy one car for your lifetime is a good deal, like buying a home, an apprecating asset.

Yes agree, it's similar to the smartphone battery issue. Your phone could last way longer than the glued in battery.

Wow again well done....The questions and explanations were all spot on. Would love to see video of the business events they hold there. NIO needs to do more to get those ROOMS Booked. This space is in the middle of Frankfurt. Where are the Weddings, Birthday parties, and Family reunion FUNCTIONS? Get those videos to KZbin.
