There are no warning labels that say: In the first 10-15 minutes your brain is expanding on some level, although you may feel like you are stupid. FYI...marijuana is also estrogenic - increasing risk of male breast cancer and decreasing sperm quality - recent internal medicine boards question I had. Not infrequently, we also admit people from the ED with hyperemesis syndromes/abdominal pain from marijauna days to weeks after they've stopped smoking. In our med school lecture from an M.D. PhD psychiatrist they also taught us it increases risk of schizophrenia by 10x. I learned from the senior residents in anesthesia that it also changes your tolerance to anesthesia which can be problematic when they're trying to put patients to sleep for procedures without putting them in respiratory depression. I think we all have to be very careful about its use and think about our individual risk factors for family hx of cancers, if we're in child bearing years and might care about optimizing sperm quality, if you're weight training and want to maximize testosterone, if you have a family history of bipolar schizaffective-psychosis-or schizophrenia, and the need for operative procedures in the future if you have an illness requiring operative treatments, and weigh that against the potential benefits of therapeutic marijuana. Very individual decision.

Yup. Thank you. It’s a powerful drug and not as benign as people want to believe. I have personally known people who were clearly harmed by its use and yet defended it vehemently. I suffered a panic attack after smoking weed for almost three years nonstop. I was diagnosed anxiety and small portions of depression. My daily intake was two doses of sertraline tabs morning and night. I just recently felt better and overall in a better place in life, which I think affects how you feel when using a drug. I just recently started smoking again, decreased my daily dose to one in night and I'm feeling great! Just wanted to get that accross if anyone is going through the same situation. Btw, great video!

Yeah the weed was strong and made you uncomfortable with your self in the moment. Your issues have not a thing to do with marijuana but with your weak mind at that point in your life. No offense just the truth of the matter. The worst thing you did that day will come to light and if you’re not regularly self regulating yourself it’s a new experience for most people and they spiral and freak out. Like I said IMO a lack of courage/confidence and happiness with oneself is hard to hide when your high as hell. Most people are just distracted then smoke some ganja and actually process what’s been happening around them and how they’ve been acting. You’re been an a hole congrats now you got an anxiety attack from pot.

Shikimic acid is depleted in the soil and it creates tryptophan, Phenylalanine and tyrosine deficiencies in plants and therefore within us. Tryptophan only converts 2% to 5htp, the rest goes through the kyurine pathway to produce NAD. Which is responsible for immune function. The enteroendocrine cells produce the majority of your serotonin when you have a thyroid issue or gut dysbiosis in any form you will have low serotonin hence why SSRI's are so commonly used and show benefits for those who do. At least, in the short term. It's also partly why psychecelics and other serotogenics are so beneficial. You don't have an SSRI deficiency. This may seem preachy but it's from a place of concern, find alternative therapies. SSRI's are either a life sentence or a short lived semi beneficial crutch. Neither of which get at the causes of which I listed above. Drinking is addictive because the majority of people also have glutamate dysfunction and gaba deficiency.

First of all, I believe all drug use is medicinal, if people continue the use over an extended period of time. In my case, I have been a satisfied user for over 50 years, and cannabis and coffee are the only two drugs that I have used for the most part. Actually I was an alcoholic for 12 years and that almost killed me, but I was released from that addiction in 1989 and haven’t had a drop since. Hey Tom! Big fan.. just wanted to share my 0.2 on how you "feel" when you're high. I smoke very frequently but in very low dosages. So for example, ill take my oil pen or joint and hit 5-8 times then stop. Usually, from a pen, 4-5 times is usually enough. Also, another thing you might want to consider, is the strain of the weed you're smoking. You have sativa, which is my favorite, cause it allows me to do deep work or get in a good workout. You have indica, which for me, is what I would do before bed. If I smoked it during the day, it can give you that play & pause feeling on your brain, or even get you paranoid. Then you have hybrids which are a blend of both strains. So yea, strain and dosage matters, try experimenting! Hope that can make the experience more joyful for you.
@robbcervss5952 жыл бұрын
Well the first time I smoked I opened my mind to feel my own feelings and physical sensations. But I too forgot that I was expressing how I expected the high to be then after a couple more uses I recognized that it brought down any walls that blurred the connections that are happening within myself. 😌

Then you take the practice home and you do it every day for 21 minutes starting with twice a day the first 40 days. Then it becomes a habit you can do it Once a day after that. You can take it online but I would highly recommend going to McMinnville Tennessee to the Isha Center that Sadhguru is building. It’s amazing. Built on the trail of tears and consecrated space. Not mentioned here is the considerable research indicating that even 21 years of age may be too low of a best-practices age floor for responsible (non-harming) THC use. This is thought to be due to interference of THC with the final stages of frontal lobe neuronal mylenation (some ppl are still mylenating all the way up to 25). If you have ever known ppl who became heavy users as, say, 14 year olds and stayed that way, you will likely notice that their maturation and self-realization processes appear to have been at least somewhat or even profoundly derailed. Keeping this stuff away from one's children needs to be stressed. It is also worth mentioning that short term memory effects can be measured for days after a stiff dose. This means that even moderate use patterns, like 3-4x per week, can bring about side effects of a "high" which then never quite completely clear. This can be noticed by some ppl as a new difficulty in remembering dream content.
Thank you for your insight! What results have you achieved with Normotim? 🙏

Mood behavior is a very prominent one specially when people who are depressed use it can be in a loop when using this drug because it can cause the depression to be intensified. Definitely interesting take on this. I am anti drugs but I keep an open mind - this may be a way that can help people who are not able to reach certain levels of peace on there own. Who knows. Not for me but it may be a good option for some 😊 got to love knowledge imagination and science - but all this comes from a higher intelligence through each and every one of us. - great interview (congrats Lisa so proud of you - share story with the world I will buy your book - love stories about women finding there power again and take it back dispute fear and self doubt) woohoo

🤣🤣 it's not a drug!!! It's an herb!!! For crying out loud 🤣🤣🤣

@@faith1165 a matter of perspective …. I believe that it starts out that way but now in the medical profession and industry ….. it’s has been taken to a new level and become more by definition of a “drug” category …I get what your saying and thanks for sharing 🙏 its all in the perspective of how we view it, right 😊 neither wrong or right, it just is!

It is a herb. However it has been engineered (enhanced) from its natural source and thus became a drug.

Did you smoke a high thc strain?
@zolaoya2 жыл бұрын
@@randoclipz8912 yes. do you have any suggestions?
@randoclipz89122 жыл бұрын
Well, I'm not an expert by any means. But was my understanding that if medical patients reported anxiety as a side effect, they would then be given to try strains with lower thc and higher levels of CBD. Regardless, if you feel that you don't need it then great

@@randoclipz8912 I've been told the same information, I just haven't gotten around to trying it again. Thank you

weed isn't good for people with emotional issues; they will be exacerbated as one gets hooked. Psychedelics have some benefits but will not help with serious anxiety disorders or depression. Recreation drugs are the new economy which is why it's being pumped and adverse reports are kept quiet. Professor Nutt should be more cautious with his enthusiasm

It doesn't create drive to "amazing". Cuz you won't care about frivolous bs anymore. It's fun to watch the people trying to be though! 😆 You worked extremely hard bc you wanted other people to care??? Makes sense.. keep impressing kids.........
