One of the few opinions that I still remember from Show Your Work by Austin Kleon is "selling out your works doesn't necessarily mean betraying them." So as long as sponsorships help your well-being, Squarespace, Storyblocks, the Darkroom, or anyone you feel relevant and comfortable to work with, I would like to see those insert promotions from you!

Bro idfc if you had 67 RAID shadow legends ad’s per video. You create high level, and extremely creative content. Please ffs take every sponsor you feel works well for you- we would rather watch an ad spot than not get to watch you at all. Don’t think so hard about it’s- it’s appreciated, but we want you above all else! Most people have already accepted that ad’s are going to be a thing forever on here. I always wanted to get into film but you were one of the KZbinrs who made me find it less terrifying. And if it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t have been able to end up using my grandfathers old cameras like I wanted. It is crazy how many times I have went back and forth myself on this very subject. I don't think anyone understands until they are met with the same predicament. It is even harder when your work and reputation is tied up in it. At the end of the day, when I watch other channels, I don't care about sponsors. It isn't as deep as some people make it out to be. Most of the criticism comes from one or two people and we, as creators, tend to value those over the positive takes when making decisions. You do you. You are making great work.

It definitely is an interesting situation to contemplate in one's mind. Even the thought of making a small decision like this that ripples to others across the internet are bewildering. Sometimes thinking is the enemy and we just need to take action. Knowing that others such as yourself have negotiated these same obstacles makes dispatching them myself infinitely less daunting. I know you might feel nervous about peoples reactions to having sponsorships. But consider this - alot of your audience will be proud of you and happy to see you have sponsors. As long as they are congruent, and the content remains good. Your presumption its going to upset people is based from your own anxiety. Just do it buddy

Sounds good! Stick with it, your video quality is amazing, so it would be a shame to see you stop making them. Personally I prefer video ads in the ending of the video, perhaps with a quick: "This video is sponsored by X" early on. It's understandable though how that could affect the available sponsors even further, if they want their content shown early in the video. Good luck in this
