Appreciate the heck out of you Dan! Proud of you for getting yourself in a less stressful scenario so you can have some clarity. My take on “blending” the channel is that it’s a good idea. The move on KZbin for ages has been to niche down to death - I think showing more of yourself as a personality through a variety of content has value and might make for less jarring conversions to your streams. That’s my 2 cents! Keep it up and keep being you homie 🎉

i know i’ve already shared my opinion on this with you, but i feel that people here would agree with me too; no, not everyone will be interested in more personal/gaming videos, but that’s okay! no matter what you make, you’re not gonna please everyone with all the videos you make, but if you’re enjoying making them it’s always worth it. i personally am very excited to see more of you having a damn good time, and making entertaining videos while doing it:)

This year you should do very long video(like 1 and half hour long) which is FULL guide on how to set up twitch. Stuff like making logos, downloading StreamLabs, making overlays and stuff like that.

2023 streamer tips: compare previous year’s recommendations and how they have or have not changed. What is working better in today’s streaming world, and how should we adjust? How often should you change games as a variety streamer? How do you keep the same game interesting if you generally focus on one? Define what is “average viewer” count and the ratio of average viewers to followers. What’s considered to be “good” for your channel size? Which statistics should you focus on? When to swing the ban hammer on toxic community members.

I've been finding it hard to get to your streams and I would LOVE to see gaming stuff here so I can still get that part of you :D As for me and 2023 - I'm working on growing my Trovo channel (pretty sure I'm leaving Twitch but I might just balance both, don't know yet!) and try to hit the the Trovo 500 program! A lot to do but I have 12 months! I'm also going to be working on myself, mentally, emotionally, physically. I'm going to be a better Jessica at the end of 2023

Do whatever your heart desires, and that you have a passion for! It's very appreciative that you make tutorials on helping small streamers trying to grow on twitch, but there's only so much of advice that you can really share now like you mention, and it's honestly a common thing now that people already know that KZbinrs be sharing when it comes to asking for tips on how to grow. Nonetheless, I would be definitely be looking forward to seeing the different content you want to put out besides the tutorials.

Thank you for alot of advice over time. Continue just focus on yourself and what you wanna put out as content. My advice is to just do it even if it feels like 10% of the high standards you have. I really enjoy your Streamer Tips content and don't watch a lot of gamer vids however I think it's a great idea to diversify your content and bring some of your Twitch content to KZbin, especially in the form of shorts! I know a lot of mega streamers have separate channels for different content, but I'm not sure that's the play for smaller content creators. Ultimately, like other decisions you've made, test it out and just see, right? Content suggestion: I'd love to see someone like yourself create something like a 'small streamer content review' video series. Take volunteers and review their Twitch and other socials; make commentary on where you think they're hitting on all cylinders or where they have opportunities to improve. Constructive criticism can be helpful for individuals and sometimes a live example could be more beneficial than a list of streamer tips for the viewers who watch it. (Yeah, I'd volunteer for this...) Thanks again for the content brother, enjoyed it as always!

One important thing that I’m learning currently is learning to ride the wave for a bit. When something you try on twitch starts to pop off a bit learn to grow with that thing and make it your own. Let your creativity run with it and make it something you also enjoy

Dan you could make crocheting content and I'd still watch. Literally do whatever you want, the real homies will stay and watch you no matter what. I was initially drawn in by the Twitch advice, but I stayed for the wacky, energetic, funny, laughing and always smiling Irish lad in front of the camera lens. I can really only speak for myself but produce whatever content makes you happy, I'll watch it no matter what it is.

Great stuff, here's hoping for a bit of balance and renewed enjoyment on how you approach your content. For how to grow...maybe change it up a bit and give few tips along the way, that growth is great, but self care, learning self limits and don't feel owned by streaming momentum; they are also important to know. I see an increase every year of creators apologizing for even the smallest of breaks.

All the KZbin videos I see say that your channel should address a specific niche and not be a blend. If anyone was going to break the trend and try something different, it’s you. And it is your channel. You do you. I have one video on my channel that averages 1000 views a day. It’s about a starfish I used to have in my fish tank. Am I taking that down? Hell no! I hope some of those viewers also like video games lol!
