I think the reason the scrap of paper was in the red room was because of Sou trying to get rid of it, but specifically, get rid of it in a way that would make Sara look bad. By hiding the scrap of paper that went with the list of occupations, and leaving behind just the two pieces that implied Sara was a murderer, maybe he was hoping to get everyone to turn on her early, without having to dirty his hands.

It's also possible that the reason the scrap of paper is in the red room and not destroyed is because a floor master put it there, to keep the game fair. Sou maybe tried to chuck it in the pit by the dart board, but a floor master retrieved it, and put it in the red room for Sara to find, so she'd have a way to prove her innocence. Maybe it wasn't even out of fairness, but out of a desire for Sara to win

I think Sou actually when he makes the side-eye to kanna was to watch out for her not to say something she might regret because of the mood she is still in. And that the plan that he then makes her reveal as Sage and him as keymaster is not to create chaos, it's to have an alibi so he won't be voted at the end, since if it's noticeable that they are both working together, neither could be voted because of the possibility of it being a sage-keymaster relationship, which not only saves sou who is the least trusted and the main chosen one in both main games, but also Kanna without the need for her to explain herself since she is not mentally capable and the statements she makes are dangerous for her safety. In the end I think it was a very twisted way for Sou to make sure he saved himself from being the chosen one and more importantly for him, that kanna wasn't either, but because Sara also doesn't believe in Sou at any point, she never takes the possibility that Sou did anything more than just save himself by manipulating a traumatized girl. At the end of it all, all twenty participants are victims looking for the same thing and Shin is the biggest victim (Shin, not [so] sou) because of the manipulation he suffered in his first trial and Midori's influence, that literally killed him and even in the logical route, he hasn't come back because he is still Sou (Another reason why I prefer the emotional route, to respect Sou's last will as someone good, his desire to protect Kanna)

I believe Qtaro was trying to make himself a target when he offered to kill the kids, we learn about him later that he thinks sacrificing children is disgusting
@Gummyz2511 ай бұрын
Yes but he cares about his own survival way more than the children so when he thinks they’ve done nothing they are expendable because he still thinks breaking out is an option at this point. He thinks he can let them die if they don’t justify their reasons to survive because he gave them a chance.

I believe Q-Taro was (in a very unhelpful way, admittedly) trying to give the kids a chance to show their worth. He doesn't want to vote for them, but the logical practical side of his brain needs a reason to not go through with it. So he desperately tries to get them to say anything, to the point of talking down to them, which isn't a good look

agreed with @Gummyz25 and @HyLion - my interpretation of q-taro falls along those lines! he says it himself: being an adult or child doesn't matter - in a high stakes situation, he's treating everyone equally. which means voting for a child too, if need be. not that i think he *wants* to, only that he feels desperate enough to potentially do it.

Could you imagine how crazy the first main game would be if everyone survived the first and second trials? We would have twenty people here, meaning there would be ten options in the final vote.

not just that, but the drama of it all! kurumada being kurumada, mai being mai, keiji and megumi… 😳
@Penbskaboo11 ай бұрын
@@yourturntorant Maybe it´s just my favoritism for Kurumada but I do think he is a very caring guy, maybe not yet at the first main game but im sure that he would sacrifice himself later on when he gets to know them better. (that would crush me though so please, no-) But yeah 20 People fighting to find out who has which card, all the actions in such limited time, would be harsh.

In vgperson's theorycrafting post, they wrote the following: "It's a little unclear who Sara hears fainting before the first Main Game. The likely implication is Kanna, since she arrives late, but it's the kind of detail that could have greater significance than it seems. Miley's comment about whether Sara made the right choice to participate seems odd too, and makes me wonder if there is a situation where not participating at the price of your death would be beneficial. If the Sacrifice doesn't think they can win a Sacrifice victory, them not participating would cause that to not be a risk for the others, but that's about the only situation I can think of. Something similar might be true for the Keymaster, but it's dubious whether the Keymaster dying in a way other than being voted for wouldn't still result in a massacre." It seemed like the idea that Miley might have been referring to Kanna/Sara taking part in the main game when alluding to the "correct choice" may not have been something you considered, so posting this here for prosperity! :)

There’s definitely someone we don’t know walking around because that one scene where Sara and Keiji were snooping had a mysterious character

From our roleplay, I wonder what everyone would do if any number of candidates were chosen in the first round other than 5
