I highly recommend watching all of this video! Yes it is long, but Yehuda Shaul gives a very measured and precise description of the ongoing insanity that Hebron exemplifies. I have studied the issue of "security" in this region, and this portrayal of the situation in Hebron matches my experiences on the ground in other parts of the OPT as well as accounts from other Israelis and Palestinians. THE MOST IMPORTANT TAKEAWAY HERE IS THAT NOW YOU KNOW AND YOU CANNOT REMAIN SILENT! Especially those of us in the USA who send $3.8Bn/year, $10mn/day in unconditional military weapons funding which is used to prop up these war crimes and crimes against humanity. Do not let this go on in silence. Speak out.

I grew up on the street where they were filming. I saw my elementary school, my memories of playing in those streets as a child, I recalled the trips I made to the market with my father to buy groceries. As they walked deeper and deeper into the city, my memory started to fade gradually, as older I got and the less streets I was allowed to walk on I started making less memories during the curfews and being stuck at home for months and months. I was praying they keep walking so I can see more and refresh my memory of the old city, I haven’t been on those streets in more than 20 years. Now I am on a different continent, thousands of miles away and upset that those settlers hijacked my city. Palestine will be free, and the nazi jewish occupation will end, this is a fact. Injustice can not continue on like this, the humanity of people will put an end to this. And if civil non-violent protest doesnt do it, then the oppressed have the right to defend themselves and its fully justified.

Minute 52!! The Egyptian Syrian invasion? Israel Attacked Egypt and then Egypt reacted a few years later. I think you forgot to mention this. Made it sound like Egyptians attacked you. BUT YOU ATTACED EGYPT FIRST AND SHARM EL SHEIKH IS NOT YOURS. SINAI IS EGYPTIAN. You forget yo mention a whole war in 67! And you mentioned how many of your soldiers died in war with Egypt 73. But again you forgot to mention how many Egyptians were killed by Israel in 67. Pls be fair when u talk history

@@tilmerkan3882 Honestly you need to study more about Israel . Many of war are defensive but most of its war are offensive.

@@rash6821A preemptive strike is what it is. Why on earth do you want terrorists to always be on the offensive?

Congratulations for Standing up & Being Counted! You Can Look in the mirror & be proud of Showing & Expressing your Humanity! You should be Awarded with a medal for Humanity. I've seen several videos of some of your other comrades ... I also saw a lady who'd served 3 months in an Israeli prison for being a conscientious objector ...

This should be played daily in the US Congress until our enablement of the apartheid state of Israel changes. I don’t know if this would make a difference given politics in the US, but it should. It is sickening that our money is spent on this and Gaza and that we send our police forces to train under the IDF.

Can't believe people born and raised in New York would willingly join an army enforcing apartheid elsewhere.
