Especially since, in the hundreds of years that quirks have been around, Toga cannot be the only person to have developed a quirk that requires the consumption of blood. What always worries me about characters like Toga is how the fanbase treats them after finding out about their sad backstory. Yami kawaii focuses more on fake, pastel injuries, and guro is more horror-esque with white clothes and more realistic feeling injuries and blood. More than mental health being 'taboo' these styles (less so guro than the other two) were meant to force the general populace that mental health exists and that disorders and similar need to be accepted and taken of, rather than be shunned for even existing.

She is the perfect embodiment of how quirks work. the thing about quirks is that you dont control it, it controls you. In their universe, quirks work in a way that it will affect the way you think. it draws you to things that are similar so that you can know your quirk and awaken it. It is not her fault that she is born with a quirk that literally depends on her drinking blood. Quirks have been around for about 5-6 generations by this point in the story, Toga is not the first nor the last person to have a blood quirk. The hospitals and quirk counselling centers should've accommodated for her by either donating extra blood or making faux blood that tastes like real blood. Her lust for blood is something that she has an almost instinctual desire for.

TBH it kind of irks me how Meti explains why Twice was killed in this video. He wasn't killed just because he regained the bravery to use his quirk. He also wasn't killed as if he wasn't human. Hawks gave him a chance to re-enter society, to atone for his crimes and live. Because he absolutely was a criminal. He wasn't evil per se, but he certainly wasn't out for the good of the people. Just by the virtue of the group he belonged to. Twice reminds me a bit of Serizawa from Mob Psycho 100: an incredibly powerful individual, who unfortunately ended up on the side of the bad guys. And those bad guys would absolutely use and abuse his powers and naivety to plunge the world as we know it into chaos. The difference being, Mob managed to convince Serizawa to change sides through compassion, and Serizawa has since tried to use his powers for good to atone for his crimes. Twice unfortunately didn't get quite the same chance as Serizawa. Man, I really went off on a tangent there...
@jazmin54403 жыл бұрын
I personally felt like Hawks was mocking Twice in that scene because with all of Twice’s actions , he could never live a normal life and will probably spend the rest of his life in jail. Hawks is either naive or was mocking him, and with the Hero Commission, it’s likely it’s the former option

I have a headcanon about Toga. Because her attitude reminds me a bit of Hansel and Gretel from Black Lagoon, maybe she went through something similar to what they went through. Maybe her parents didn't really send her to counseling, and they took advantage of her quirk. Maybe they were involved with snuff films and red rooms, and they made her kill people, and if she didn't do what they told her they would punish her. And maybe everything she told Curious was a lie, and the flashbacks we saw were fake. Maybe she suppressed her real memories and replaced them with fake ones. And maybe most of the people she murdered were bad people who were also involved with snuff films and red rooms. And to be honest, I don't think Toga really is crazy. I think it's just a facade. I think she's trying very hard to pretend to be something she's not.

Toga is a misunderstood girl , she didn't have the right support from her family , her family is the one to blame cause they pushed her to put a fake face rather than help her

Toga is on another level in the manga right now.. she has officially snapped. I seriously hope that her and Uraraka at LEAST get to talk out their feelings with each other.

The fights of My Hero Academia may be decent at best, but the characterization and world-building... Whoa. Characters like Toga are the most clear example of where this man's strengths really are.
