Sony is absolutely going after Capcom. They have a valuation in the mid 5 billion and for that they get INCREDIBLE IP like Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, Street Fighter and Mega Man. I think Sony's greatest strength, despite their inconsistent quality, is being able to make movies. And those IP are absolutely perfect for that. The R rated Mortal Kombat movie did great in the box office, what's to say a more PG-13 Street Fighter movie wouldn't do even better?

Hey, I planned to comment this when this video actually came out but with the recent news of Sony making moves for Kadokawa and finalizations for Sony Bank et. al. listing for next year I thought I would finish my thought. When this video came out there were a couple articles in Japanese financial papers talking about "selling non essential parts to overseas and buying locally" in terms of merges and acquistions in Japan, basically talking about baking home grown side projects to fund main goal stuff. Personally the people who were writing the articles were mainly PwC backed ,which do auditing/(non-auditing consultation maybe as well) for both Sony and Nintendo in Japan, so I conspiracy theoried that Sony might make pushes to sell more branches to fund a crazy bid for Nintendo but obviously that didn't happen. When you released this video I believe Bandai had already given trademarks back to From Software so were basically only publishers while Kadokawa has them as a subisidiary, so your call for Kadokawa was really quite a good one to make. Yeah I just wanted to say basically nice call (if the deal goes through).

I think regarding the Mattel Movies (I refuse to call it "cinematic universe"), if the execs at Mattel give the creators creative freedom and allow them to do their jobs well like what happened in Barbie, it can be a very interesting experiment. I, for one, am interesting in an A24-style Barney movie so long as its true to the style. Same with a Hotwheels movie because it's definitely very possible, we've seen glimpses of it in their animated movies. So long as there is a strong creative pipeline unrestricted by the need to sell but rather attack a good story. The problem with GI Joe was that they just didn't give a shit about story but flashiness, like the Fast and Furious movies, just more ridiculous (somehow they achieved that). I will never get over the fact of how overvalued Activision-Blizzard is by comparison to other studios. The only money maker from ActiBlizz is COD and Candy Crush, the rest are crushed reputationally and waning like Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4. Meanwhile Take2 and EA are MILES ahead in terms of range of successful games. I refuse to believe that this acquisition is domineering in any way, if anything it's stupid. Because unless Microsoft dumps huge sums into Blizzard to save their games and use their brand value to reignite failing franchises, it's just a serious over spend. If they acquired Ubisoft or EA, then I would have been pissed since that's a REAL threat. They are massive companies with gigantic franchises that are still active and successful.

Birthrate is due to carrying capacity and standard of living, not laws. eventually the world will approach it's max and naturally humans will stop having kids. (we are experiencing this now due to cost of living and resources). If you, as an adult, at the age where you would typcially would make a child can't support yourself or don't even enjoy living then you will not be having a kid. Once the cost of life exceeds any benefit or enjoyment from said child you just don't do it. As for Japan, they are an island nation with strong morals, traditions, and heavy mental issues. It's why suicide rates used to be so bad (its getting better). A part of this was due to the work ethic at the time and if you got kicked out of that circle it led people to extremly dark thoughts. Can't be having kids when your working 60-80+ hour weeks of unpaid overtime.
@connormullin45472 ай бұрын
If you look at stats the number one thing associated with low fertility is population density. This is why rural America has a high birth rate and dense cities like New York have abysmally low birth rates. You can even see a really strong correlation based on how many people live in your building. Birth rates are the lowest in the world in South Korea and Japan which have the densest populations in the world, especially South Korea where pretty much everyone lives in apartments in dense cities. The only realistic way to fix it is to lower immigration so there are less people, and promote living in rural areas, as well as building less high density housing and more low density housing all over the country. Also you'd probably have to punish companies for having all of their work and hiring in high density areas, and reward them for moving it to rural communities that have lots of room to grow so that they aren't economic deadzones, otherwise young people wont want to live there. America, Canada, and Australia are huge, places like England, Japan, and Korea are just fucked by lack of space, but there is no good reason why every city in North America can't just expand outwards with tons of single family homes for everyone. The government just has to create the correct incentives to force people and corporations to spread out, and stop packing in more people from other countries into the same 3 cities where everyone in the country is packed like sardines.

When i was working in the fast food buisness the very real problem i learned about from my manager is that a LOT of fast food companies expand far far beyond what they need to. In the chain i worked at they planned on expanding to five new restaurants by years end, instead of raising their employees wages to even remotely approach minimim wage, or so the rumor went. That was when the economy could handle this kind of flux. Now the economy is even worse off and companies havent changed their policy of rapid expansion. This naturally can't work for more than a few chains since you can't have every chain everywhere without losing money somewhere. They MUST open 5 five different chains all within five miles of each other. And now instead of just the employees feeling this slide, the customers are with reduced quality and mediocre portions. It was bound to happen

I found a niche use for the remote emp doesn’t help with speed running but the laptop to disable the virus ontop of the hut with the camera system on Santa fortuna if you use the remote emp on the laptop it disables the virus

Global record for R-rated films is currently held by Joker at a cool billion, with the two Deadpool movies closely tailing at $786 million and $781 million respectively. With no real threats to Oppenheimer's IMAX screenings until maybe Blue Beetle, that means they might very well overtake one or both of the Deadpools. At the very least it may overtake Matrix Reloaded's #4 slot.
