Excellent! Leave the gun, take the cannoli. Both of my grandparents immigrated here from Santa Christina Gela which is just outside of Palermo. As a kid when we'd go Grandma's house, she would play music similar to this in addition to Mario Lanza records so when I hear this stuff it moves me deeply as I remember happier family times from more than 50 years ago.

Il mio caro papà ha costruito un mandolino e una mandola con cui ha interpretato e registrato, attraverso un registratore a quattro piste, un gran numero di brani, sia di musica classica, sia di musica "leggera", accompagnandosi anche con la chitarra. Ha suonato anche questa colonna sonora. La musica è stata la sua grande passione, fin da piccolo, e lo ha accompagnato per tutta la vita. Conservo tutte le sue audiocassette e le ascolto spesso. È il più grande regalo che abbia potuto farmi! Metteva un grande sentimento e una grande espressione nelle sue esecuzioni, proprio come avete fatto voi ora. Vi avrebbe certamente apprezzatto e ascoltato molto volentieri. Grazie per l'emozione che mi avete fatto rivivere.
