I met the Godfather, back in the late 90s, right in the height of his pimping days, lol Ric Flair owned a Gold's Gym in Greensboro, NC and I used to go there and work out. When the WWE was in town, some of the wrestlers would go there during the day and work out. One day I saw the Godfather there. He was on a machine doing bicep curls. He was gigantic. Every bit of 6'6, 300 lbs. I just walked up to him and asked, "Where the hoes at?" He laughed and pointed outside towards the strip club a couple of blocks away and said, "They're down the street!" I wish I’d pressed that a bit more tbh. I don’t think he and Chris shared much time in WWF locker rooms - a few months at most. But Godfather would have been there for the last year Sunny was around, which is probably more than enough time to grow to dislike her! Speculation on my part and I wish I asked follow up questions, but aside from Sunny he pretty much didn’t get into anything negative in the whole interview so he may not have shared any more beyond that.

He’s not wrong. I knew the late “Moody” as he was known by his friends here and not only could he roll a joint tighter than anything. He called it “burning hay”. He even had his own stuff he called “Mardi Gras mix” which had different substances sprinkled on it and would cause mayhem with anyone that smoked it. I wasn’t a pot guy, never even smoked a cigarette, but I’ve seen him be the last man standing on several occasions. If he were still alive and had his own podcast where his actual personality could come through it would be a smash hit. He had an evil sense of humor.

Always loved Godfather. Great heel too in his Right To Censor days. Looking back that was an awesome faction, one of the best heel factions ever in my opinion. They weren't a cool heel faction like DX or nWo, they were properly full heel, white hot heat, despised heels. They did their job so well and their matches were always really good. I don't think there's been a heel faction as successful as that since, and Godfather was a big part of it. Under rated.

Didn't you think that Sunny was a huge egotistical jerk, though ? It always seemed like when she was in the wrestling business that she wasn't very nice to people. Tom Prichard said the same thing. He said that when he, Chris and Sunny were together that Sunny wasn't very nice to other people. Sunny also didn't get along too well with other managers like Paul Bearer and Sable. Her drug/prescription painkiller addiction was one of the biggest reasons that Vince McMahon decided to let her go in July 1998.
