I drove OTR for 42 years, and back in the '70's and '80's, for a large fleet with lots of orange trucks, but I do remember my doors being blown off on the Ohio turnpike by Montfort, and in truck stops, when a J.B. Hunt was around, the call on the CB was, "look out, he's backin' up!" Great memories!

These days, J.B. Hunt has been replaced by Swift . I drove for 44 years, retired January 2022 . I enjoyed, except for the last 2 years was glad to retire.

I drove 43 years a lot of it was Great Lake states for a small aluminum company out of Arkansas just retired this year sure we traveled same roads together

One thing about JB Hunt lots of them go Intermodal so not as many OTR.

@@Hondabill I ran out of Northwest Arkansas, from 1990 until 2022. I ran mostly from NW. Arkansas to the Dallas, Ft. Worth area. Twice a week. I dealt with truck brokers, and they were so stupid, send me to the wrong place, give me bad pick up numbers. I told a few they needed to find the right numbers, and give them to someone else, because I wasn't going to pull their freight. I was so glad to get away from the stupid stuff. I slept the first 3 weeks I was on retirement.

O-H-I-O Porter greetings 🇺🇸 Beautiful old trucks!!! The trucking industry has gone through a LOT of changes! My dad started driving in the 1930s, my oldest brother in the 1950s. The stories they would tell me…my dad having a run in with Capone boys & my brother with trucker strikes. Chilling!! I still love to see these old trucks. I still learn things…styles of moving vans, unique sleeper cabs, unique cabovers. Thanks for doing what you do. God bless all of our truckers & their families! It’s a sacrifice for all of them to do what they do & did! Good stuff!! Blessings.💥🥰✌️
