That KW cabover at 0:28 was actually bronze and white with black stripping. Originally powered with a turbine engine running Vancouver Montreal. After a year and many problems with the turbine it was re powered with a Cummins KT-450.

Thanks for the information on that K100. Figured it must have been turbine powered with those pipes. Do you have any other information on that truck? Was it built at the St Therese Qc. plant or in the US. And what years did it run Vancouver to Montreal. Dad owned a 1979 K100 VIT, Cat powered great truck back in the day

The truck was built in Canada and the time line was around 1973-75 give or take. About the same time Canadian Freightways were testing a cab/over Freightliner turbine powered but those endeavours never panned out with any operation...the Freightliner also was equipped with 10 or 12 inch stacks due to heat.
