That must have been 68 or 69 with the girl pumping gas at 49.9 cents

@Retired 880 We were at 29.9 per gallon in southwest Wyoming in 68 and 69. The price per gallon was painted on a sign by the pump,it was the same price for several years. The price for number 2 diesel at that time was 17.9 cents per gallon. (That was seventeen and nine tenths cents per gallon)

@@kathyc1109 I pumped gas at a station in Pennsylvania in 1967 that was as a Gulf station that had the 3 grades by name. Gulftane or economy was 21.9 cents, Good Gulf or regular was 23.9 cents and Gulf No Nox or high test was 27.9 cents per gallon. I don’t know about heating oil or diesel which were both the same but Anthracite coal was $35 per ton delivered
