Four years from now, the absolute best case scenario for the warriors is that Podz is the starter at PG, Moody starts at SG, JK is the starter at SF and TJD at center. All four would be between the ages of 25 and 27, entering their athletic primes together. That lineup has elite size, great defense, playmaking and, if their improvements continue, good shooting. The way I see it, Moses Moody should be the starter, normally guys entering the NBA start vast improvement by the 3rd to 4th season, Moody is on track to make the biggest improvement. I had penciled in Buddy Hield at the shooting guard, Wiggins at the small forward, Steph at the point, Draymond at the 4 position, and Trayce at the 5, leaving Kuminga and Moody coming off the bench. However, if Hield doesn't start, I would pencil in Moody as the starter. Why Moody? As I stated before in watching these preseason games, Klay Thompson took a lof of confidence away from the young players in Kuminga and Moody. Moody played as if he was looking over his shoulder, plus it didn't help that Kerr simply couldn't find minutes for him. Klay will always be my guy and I have nothing negative to say about him, however, he casted a huge shadow over the younger guys, taking shots away from them. It was plenty of games last season I could see in the eyes of Kuminga and Moody, they didn't play with energy and incentive. I still view Kuminga as a trading piece for the Warriors, especially if Moodycan contribute about 15 to 16pts per game off the bench. By the way Swish, one of our guys James Wisemen has finally started playing like a 1st rd pick during the preseason, I'm truly happy for him. i simply cannot see Wiggins at shooting guard. He's quick and athletic, but far to slow for the NBA guard position. I use to play against far more athletic players during my playing days, but when I was matched up against a player 6'7 to 6'9, it was far too easy for me to get around them with my first step and me being 6'4. Trust me Swish it's not going to be as easy as you think for Andrew Wiggins to play that guard position, but we will see. The only reason Kerr is even experimenting with that concept is because he doesn't want to kill the confidence of Kuminga and bring him off the bench, so I expect Kerr to be looking at Kuminga very closely, because he has a log jame at the small forward position.
@musatheleaderАй бұрын
Kuminga the 20 points a night. The best raw athlete on the team. Who in the league would be the upgrade? Kerr needs to let the youngins rock out. Moody and Kuminga need assurance from Kerr so the play free. Kerr lacks that ability in coaching. Install confidence in the youngins. That's a trait the Mark Jackson gave. You gotta put the battery in the back of those guys and not have them playing nervous by pulling out for every little thing and giving dnps
@jameswarner300Ай бұрын
@@musatheleader I understand what your saying, but being a former basketball player myself, the one thing you and Swish are both missing, is that Kuminga doesn't have a go to move. LeBron James played his entire career without a go to move but managed somehow to survive. Kuminga can only do one thing basically, and that's slash and dunk with an occasional 3pt shot. The Warriors aren't going to pay a one dimentional guy a max contract that can only slash and dunk. This is the same guy that has defensive break downs at the absolute worse moments in the game. If Stephen Curry went down with any kind of injury, it's no damn way this guy could lead a team and score 30 to 40 pts, and you know it. Curry is basically done when his contract is up, and it's no damn way this guy is going to lead a team into the playoffs as a leader, like really? I would trade this guy in a NY minute for future picks. I can't understand why Swish is so hung up on this guy.
@musatheleaderАй бұрын
@jameswarner300 I agree with many points you made. Being in his 4th year, he could develop that. He's worked on his back to the basket fadeaway, which is a great start to developinga go to move. Left shoulder, right shoulder turn around is a money shot if he gets the attempts. Unlike Bron, who was just allowed to dribble the ball a do whatever he wanted. But I certainly agree that he'd struggle at this point being a focal point of the offense. But I think he's being restricted by Kerr. Most young guys get to play their way into NBA rhythm doing whatever they want, but he's been a controlled system that Curry and 3 ball centric. Also being micro managed by Kerr. Kuminga is technically a 22 college senior. So trading him for future picks is horrible idea, saying as though Kerr hasn't shown that he can develop young players. It's 100% best to let this play out.
@jameswarner300Ай бұрын
@@musatheleader My goodness your just as bad as Swish, you guys see so much promise in this guy that I simply do not see at all. I've been watching this script on the NBA for over 45 years or more, I use to go to NBA games, I use to literally study guys moves on the court, even adopting a few of them for myself. I use to study plays, I knew teams favorite pet plays etc, and I've rarely ever been wrong on a player in all my years of watching the NBA. I can't think of not 1 player that I was wrong about on talent and capabilities in the NBA, not 1. No I'm not perfect by a long shot, but I can't of not 1 player that I evaluated and he turned out to be better than I predicted. I knew Jordan Poole was an absolute fraud, and I told Swish that but he couldn't see it and wouldn't admit it, and look at him now. See Swish can put together these flowery videos and lok knowledgable on the NBA with stats etc, but he doesn't literally "study" the game, I can tell the way he analyzes the sport, because he never played it and that's okay. But I just try and be his eyes behind his head to help his vision, that's all.

Can you imagine how even more lopsided that game would’ve been if they could’ve neutralized Anthony Davis just a little bit more with a legit 7 footer who can guard them more effectively. Again, I love the game that our fives have right now, but it’s not enough against all these unicorns who will score damn near at will around the rim… other than that, this team looks amazing but I still have that concern.
@SwishCultureАй бұрын
WC, I totally get it and you're right. AD was a beast. It's going to be tough to defend a 6'10 guard. Trayce might not be able to hit back with buckets at the other end but with some more experience he might be able to learn AD's moves enough to contain him. Even just a bit would be enough. Jokic has elite footwork though so that'll be an even tougher challenge. I was hoping Post would give us a bit more than what I've seen so far but man, he looks raw.
@westcoast9285Ай бұрын
@@SwishCulture agreed post looks like he needs a lot of Gleague time to wrap his head around the game, doesn’t run the floor or rebound as effectively as a seven footer should. Loved seeing him tee off a three the other night, but it was an irrelevant stat in terms of how you want to see his gameplay go. I think the Warriors still should be on the hunt for a good deal on a big man. This team clearly has the depth to make a good playoff push if they keep playing at this level.

He called Kevin Durant a bitch snd told him we dont need you. We won without you. What if we had Kevin for a couple more years or more. He punched Jordan Poole and mesed up the team chemistry that year. Last year he missed what 17 games or more due to suspension. If he wasnt such a hothead we would have won at least 4 more of those games and avoided the play-in game. We lost at least 6 games by one point. I mean honestly most of them do, and the best part is they all want to play with Curry. He hasn't had this dedicated of a roster in since I feel like 15 imo. Like 10 players on the roster can start in almost all the teams in the league. I just hate how they not getting respect from the media but the media hates us lowkey.

Kerr is the worse… rotation strategist … Moody was ready He should pf played quinton post to get him up to game speed .. of course he sucks .. he aint playing
@JP-pp2tnАй бұрын
you're dumb for thinking that 1. moody is a SG/SF not a PF, as for post rookies need to prove themselves in the G league first remember what happened last time when we rushed wiseman into the starting rotation

@@JP-pp2tn -- its THE TRUTH … playing a slumping podz most of big games last year but had moody on the bench … was ridiculous cause he impacted games he went in games almost immediately …. So YOU DIDNT WATCH ALMOST all the games … i did … there was a point in a game where the crowd was chanting moody

@@UPTIMUPRIME Melton has "mid-back tightness" so he was out and Wiggins is all good. He was sick and lagged behind in training so he's ramped up now.

I can guarantee you that, without a doubt, Homeless State is not a problem for any professional basketball team in the entire galaxy, let alone Planet Earth.
