Thank you Robert 👍 That was very interesting history on how golf ⛳ came about, and the rules, I'm so glad the art of being a surgeon has progressed since back then, and so say all of us 😂 Have a wonderful evening Robert and family ❤

Good to see that Mr Rattray has finally been unveiled. My late parents in law lived just yards away from this spot. For a long, long time the statue was in place but surrounded by high fencing while the location became more and more overgrown. Looks great now so it was clearly worth the wait!

Hi Robbie! Thank you for the confirmation that Golf used to be played in the rough. And had to have been more interesting than the current sanitized version. Well, except for the Florida links where gators wander around. Blessings! xo

Very cool! Golfers are usually fairly dedicated to their sport, which I guess from your presentation, is a grand tradition. It's a shame that politics and war had to interfere with the evolution of such a pastoral sport! Another great video! Thanks for this!

Interesting! Great story. I especially like that they have recreated the rough and rugged one hole course. Actually, I might be a better golfer in those conditions! 😂😂

One has to wonder. Were the ancient Scot's wives always pissed off with their husbands for two days after a round of Golf? Or is that just more of a modern tradition?
