My family lived in Houston, Tx. during the mid 70’s. My parents had friends who invited them to dinner and a seminar. It was a seminar to recruit people to the Tony Alamo “organization”. I remember my parents coming home saying “That whole thing was for people who are nuts”.

Yes, I have done the same and when I moved to Texas, in one town someone took me to a graveyard where once a year, they do walk throughs where they tell amazing stories about some of the people right at their tombstones while being dressed up in the style of clothing for the period at their time of death. They have millionaires to bank robbers to silent film makers. It is so much fun and the actors waiting for you at each grave are wonderful and I love the out-fits.

I love True Crime anything. I hate hearing the crimes. The details can get overly graphic sometimes. Sadly you have to some of that to understand the behavioral science behind it. The attempt to understand why basically. I have always been fascinated how they solve it. Not necessarily the forensic part but I do like that. It’s the why. How did this happen. We’ve learned so much . Most men that kill women or children is typically a sexual reason with each crime escalating if they don’t get caught. Sadly, we have decided to throw all that out and now we love minor attracted whatever they call it persons. Everything to do with the trans movement involves porn. Straight up porn. Take an 8 year old to a drag show. That’s porn. We know what this does, we’ve forgotten that kids have absolutely no way of understanding this at all, yet Law Enforcement seems to have forgotten. The elders of BAU are not even addressing it. That is just unforgivable for me.

Would never have known about this particular 'Cult', without watching your Vlog. It's sometimes difficult, living in the UK, and, therefore, viewing from afar. However, having seen editions of 'Lamont at Large', over many Months, I am addicted. Each episode , I find it captivating, mainly because the content can contain the stories of the famous, fallen and forlorn, but, also, those who existed as a, regular 9-5er, 24/7. It's just a curious and complex combination, history and record, of lives lived and lost. Huge respect to you Lamont at Large. Keep them coming. Many thanks. X

I remember these freaks. They had a store on Lower Broadway in Nashville called the Alamo where they sold their clothes, I remember the rhinestones glittering in the window. They also had a small church on Music Row, and a TV show I think. Their followers would put handbills under the wiper blades on people's parked cars with the insane statement " The Pope is the Anti- Christ" ( well, maybe that's not much of a stretch 😊) I found one on my car more than once, wish I'd kept them for sheets and giggles. The local paper was hot on Tony's woes with the IRS and the story about Susan's resurrection. Good thing his grave is up so high, sure there's many that would like to decorate it if you know what I mean. Thanks for covering this bizarre corrupt couple. Take care out there 🌞✌️

@@nancyayotte2297 That happened in the late 80s. What Sinead said when she tore the photo was Fight The Real Enemy.
