OMG My parents would talk about the Alamo cult and were directly faced with them several times in the late 70's early 80's. I haven't watched yet, but I will now and then show my parents. My dad talked about how his off the lot new Mustang was involved in an accident while a family friend was driving it to our house and somehow an accident happened and my parents said it was like a "set-up" or "staged". My dad said their followers would be worked and worked without anything earned and even lived in teepees. To me it always sounded like how Gypsies are thought to be thieves and con-artists, and then factor in the hard labor and brainwashing. WOW this is so crazy that I grew up so close by in California, I'm 45 now.

IN 1994 I meet her mom and Pebbles and her 2 sisters and they just came out of a homelessness living in Connecticut and they moved into my building in NY. Pebbles always a kid who wanted more from her mom. She played with my children she was very bratty and always lied to her mom and this is why she got in trouble with her mom for talking back as she lied. So I kind stop hanging out with her mom cause I started reading bible cause I was going through my difficult situation I pulled away . Her oldest sister told me to come down stairs to speak to her mom. I told Pebbles mom that I was leaving to move into this church. This is how Pebbles mom heard about the church. One one sister invited to the outreach church in NJ. So I left NYC and a few weeks Pebbles mother left NYC TO Arkansas. Pebbles won't play with my daughter and told the Pastor one day that she didn't know us or my children which she lied. She was the same or about the same age as my daughter. Pebbles is the kind of person that she always want to get her own way and lied about it. So sad. For Benji as everyone called him and he stood over many of the families in their homes in the church. Pebbles and all the children were home schooled. Benji and all the children in 1983 were taught in this big school that was built by the brothers and they were taught classes by the sisters that had to be approved to teach Christian academic education. Tony made sure the children had everything as well for the adults who lived in nice homes where the adults worked to maintain their home to have electricity running water and to pay the bills of the restaurant and hospital bills. Everything I saw the children with Benji were kissing girls and boys and noone was really watching these kids this why they got in trouble.

I remember the foundation days I was there in 1970for three years I must say I had a ball loved it but I have always had a mind of my own and I can see through the bull if it showed up but I would not let on that I can see clearly in them days Tony wasn’t a bad guy I can spot one I knew that Susan had him under the microscope so he was not out of control then I saw everything in them days yes I had been away in 69 job corps didn’t work out so I came home hung out in Hollywood that’s where I met one of the witnesses for Jesus I like their idea I went up to the foundation and I never left I tell you I had a ball we had what we call Saugus one Saugus two Saugus three Saugus four we had more houses than God to live in and living with white and black was quite fun but you know some people find it very hard to give up Power and control I can see through everything just like I do today with government and its people Susan was a very very very good woman she did not hold back she really believed in Jesus and so do I we all did but not everyone will walk that walk it’s not easy when you have ulterior motives I can see who did have that in the foundation but I pretended to not see a thing but believe me no one had me fooled I had some really high times there I wish I could meet some of the people I used to know but many of them probably are not even still on the planet in them days they called me Larry. I did keep a low profile though boy I wish I could find some of those people the hippie movement we were what you would call cool in them days but I knew that money would change things you know when you start seeing millions you start seeing stars and I can see it coming especially with the Jewish guys nothing against Jewish people I like the Jewish guys and the Jewish girls they always thought that they were like the special chosen and I know differently we’re all on this planet trying to figure out what the hell’s going on I was never fooled or self deceived but never did I judge them I like Susan she really meant what she said I believe those prayers and those days did have the power to keep her hanging on but I left shortly before she ascended and things started to go downhill but I didn’t keep up with the life of the people at the foundation I win in a whole new direction maybe I’ll write a book about it I became famous I’m not going to say in what or how but I keep a low profile today.

Uh, I lived there for years as a young'un. I know first hand of the paddling sessions. Tony was indeed a psycho, Susan was for real, she kept his massive ego in check, when she died he lost it. Thankfully my parents left before he went completely off the deep end. I vaguely remember Benji.

I went to the church for over 6 years and I never saw Tony go off the deep end and I was there even after Susie died. If you didn't go to the church, you can't say you know for sure and if you want to the church make good and sure you know if it is or is not true.

The more proper term would be Tony Alamo "CULT " Ministry, far from a Christian (Christ Like) ministry, interestingly, last year 2021 in a parking lot in my hometown was a Tony Alamo Flyer on my car window, blew me away as I hadnt heard his name since the 80's lol!
