OOOOH MOSES WITH THE BIG SOFT BELLY
@HelpfulAdversary6 жыл бұрын
It's sad that they left out so much of the story. I mean they completely skimmed over the part where Moses lost his big red hat and the Israelites had to spend 38 years running around looking for it.
@andrewcleary99526 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I mean, technically that's not part of the passover, the exodus was primarily recorded in exodus, while the search for the big red hat was inferred primarily from writings in law, and the book of the search for the big red hat.

Jack Goldsberry according to Jewish scripture, god put 10 plagues on Egypt, not 2; there was blood, frogs, lice, flies, pestilence of livestock, boils, thunderstorm of rain & fire, locusts, 3 days of complete darkness, and finally god killing the firstborn of every Egyptian family. In legend it was god themselves who killed the firstborn, not any angel. (That was actually stated explicitly) Honestly, clickhole should’ve just kept the original plagues, it doesn’t get any wilder than that XD Especially since Pharoe’s reaction to all of the plagues was basically “meh” until the firstborn child thing.

So did Moses ever get to use the small sack of beans?
@daltysmilth Жыл бұрын
That is one of the great mysteries of scripture. It is often mentioned that Moses *has* the beans, but in some stories, it says he lost the beans some time ago, yet other stories talk about them as if he still has them. Some scholars believe this might be a translation error, while others believe that when the stories were committed to paper, they were told out of sequence.
