I do feel for Kageyama's teammates. They spent 3 years with a toxic, hostile Kageyama. The player WE know isn't the player THEY know, and it's fair they have a fair bit of animosity towards him based on that, which I feel even Kageyama knows based on his relative passive remarks while Kindaichi is unloading.

The amount of sympathy I have for Kindaichi and Kageyama's former teammates coupled with the joy I have for Kags's growth, is very conflicting. And welcome to meeting one of the greatest characters to ever be put onto the page/screen. Also, if you don't get goosebumps or glassy eyed (or straight up bawl) in nearly all of Haikyuu, that's a red flag! And lastly, there are no villains in Haikyuu. Everyone has a story, and every story is worth your time. Just a slight change of perspective makes a mountain of difference.

We can’t imagine how this show couldn’t hit someone in the feels! We’re a little farther in the show now and can def see what you mean. Every person and their motivation for how they are and how they act is understandable. It honestly makes us want the best for everyone 😭

i was a volleyball player back at my high school and this anime always takes me back to the good memories i had with my team. all the competitions we have been through our years at school. its such a beautiful anime especially with the osts in this hits hard.
