Frostpunk 2 is out, but from what I've seen, it lacks a lot of the charm and tension that Frostpunk 1 had for me. Maybe it could get there after a couple of updates, but it's not there yet. This was one of my favorite games ever due to feeling like I was on a razor's edge the entire time, but that cannot be easily replicated. I don't plan on making Frostpunk 2 videos (unless if I boot up expert mode on my first try and have a thrilling run), but in the meantime, enjoy this re-edit of the original Frostpunk series! In my opinion, the new pacing and added explanations make this an even better watch than the original.

I can appreciate that frostpunk 2 is a bit of a departure from the original. It is a somewhat natural progression from "world ending eco-disaster". Frostpunk one has you surviving against a world ending climate change. Frostpunk 2 has you building up after stabilizing from the first. It is a different challenge but a truly faithful continuation in my opinion. Seeing tyler wrestle with the various ideas would be amazing. A bit of bugs and story patches to go, but i know this would be a wonderful journey for tyler to go through

@sintanan469Ай бұрын
On the harder difficulties the whiteout drops the gauge to as low as -180C with the final cold snap hitting -200C for one day on extreme. It's so cold that last cold snap before dawn would have oxygen itself falling as snow.

I think it's just because FP1 is quite different from FP2, whereas space age is basically more of what everyone already liked in base factorio. Also, wube is just amazing at game design and polish, whereas I see lots of comments saying FP2 isn't quite there yet.

shame there's so many frostpunk 2 haters who simply don't realize that their FP1 experience is the reason for less tension without really digging deeper into the game the devs added so many features to make it feel as human as possible, especially in the voting chamber lack of "humanity" and "tension" became a choice, and to the haters, i guess that only proves my point if they chose not to embrace humanity like many modern politicians today My only actual gripe with Tyler's take is that he implies he hasn't even tried the game, and looked at negative reviews and buzzed off.
