I never understood why charlie hated his mom so much...yeah she may be a narcissist but the evil in her is a great catch . She was always able to see the evil in women who charlie dated . Getting a prenup is not a bad idea in a society where 50 percent of the marriage ended up in divorce. Evelyn was always one of my favorites...❤❤❤❤

I think it's because the evil in her while useful to him in his adult years as you correctly pointed out is very damaging to a child. So he was left with a lot of resentment that stayed with him.

I’m not sure which off the wall character I love more… Kandi or Rose. And of course Holland Taylor’s portrayal of Evelyn Harper is inspired. You owe it to yourself to find the pilot with Blyth Danner as Evelyn just to see how much Taylor brought to the role.

I think Rose is way better than Kandi. If you think about it, Kandi is just an older, female version of Jake. The stupidity gets annoying, her hotness can only distract from it for so long.
