If this is true (I have done no research apart from watching this video so have to presume it is) then if this is the way the British Government of the time (or any time?) treat the most well trained, top of the tier, their top soldiers the best of the best etc which I presume costs a lot of money to train them to that standard never mind the ones that can't make it through the training, then I wonder why anyone would sign up for the military.
