Simcha Jacobovici Is, in my view, the greatest Biblical Archaeologist we have today. He is able to push aside religious barriers and dogmas that limit our perceptions of our shared histories. I may not always agree, but what a great detective. An example: Christianity holds the symbol of the fish as indicative of Jesus followers. However, Jesus was born into the beginnings of the 'age of Pisces' and many of the beliefs, at the time, held a close relationship to astronomical connections in their search for 'signs'. Not unlike our current 'age of Aquarius', people held fast to their hope for a new age of enlightenment, and not just to any single prophet or messiah. Thank You Parable, this was your best yet. Why are they so surprised that they found a stone that told about Jesus's death and Resurrection before he lived 🤨?they have writings in the Hebrew manuscripts that were written by the Israelites hundreds of years before Jesus was born... Intricate history, but never heard of a stone painted with ink from the time period that text survived. Unless the stone had been buried in an animal skin all the thousand years, the ink should have faded and worn away so that no text could be reproduced. So naturally, one becomes doubtful about the authenticity when the collector does not want to have such a find examined.

Intriguing documentaries that are clearly presented with strong evidence, especially with the Sator squares. My only slight criticism is with the Gabriel Inscription. Although the historicity of Jesus Christ is not questionned there is a suggestion that his resurrection did not physically take place, merely that an ideology lived on after death. This seems at odds with holding to physical archeological evidence described in scripture such as the Gadarenes and finding the necropolis. Another aspect not covered fully is the notion of false messiahs, prophets and teachers. Also the Dead Sea scrolls provide an almost complete record of the book of Isaiah. Isaiah provides muliptle prophecies and direct references to Jesus Christ. For example, Isaiah 7:14-Isaiah prophesies that a pure young woman (some translations a Virgin) will give birth to God's son. Matthew 1:18-23-Isaiah's prophecy is fulfilled. Isaiah 9:6-Isaiah prophesies that Jesus Christ will come as a baby etc. Another aspect completely overlooked is the clear evidence where Jesus Christ is referred to in the old testament in what are called Christophanies, or preincarnate appearances of Jesus. For example, in Genesis 22:11-18 Abraham took Isaac to Mount Moriah to sacrifice him as God commanded. But when he was about to kill Isaac, the angel of the Lord appeared and told him to stop. He said, “now I know that you fear God seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son from me.” The angel of the Lord spoke as if he was God. There is a clear distinction in scripture between the angel of the Lord and an angel/angels. Also there is a clear similarity between Abraham offering his only son and what God would ultimately do by offering his one and only Son Jesus Christ.

This is just semantics based on the Jewish traditions. Also, keep in mind that he rose on the 3rd day, leaving the window of anytime on that 3rd day. He passed on Friday (day 1), was doing the fathers will on Saturday (day 2), and was risen on Sunday (day 3) The Jewish tradition of days back then was also different, so there is some discrepency here, but the meat of the story is still unchanged.

Christian Annity was a categorization of apostles and disciples, given by the Romans who were against Christ's followers. Christian came from Cretins roman for idiots, annity is a tax bracket code 501C. Followers of the Christ are apostles and disciples they were not considered Christians anywhere in scripture. It is a common misconception that the gospels were written hundreds of years after the fact... n all of the epistles (letters) in the new testament were written either by some of the actual original 12 disciples of Christ, or by those first following those disciples while they still lived n were on their missions. One whole set was written by Paul of Tarsus, originally called Saul of Tarsus, who actually sought out n murdered the first followers of Christ, until he came face to face with the risen messiah, asking him why he was persecuting him, n was blinded by the encounter for 3 days, until a man he was told would come to him n heal him, did in fact just that, n Saul immediately became a believer n one of the most devout followers of christ. He went from hunting n imprisoning n even killing them with an unmatched contempt n hatred for them, to being one of the biggest names in the bible as one of the earliest church leaders, who was one of the biggest, if not the biggest, ones to teach all gentiles all across the world. He traveled all over spreading Jesus' word, the gospels, which just literally means, the good news.... There's a lot different opinions on which characters wrote what and when they did it. It's not possible to be exact to 100% certainty simply because it was put together not written together, the same stories appear 400 to 1000 years earlier written by other cultures. Man has always turned his heroes into gods. It's nothing new, it's just with Yeshua things have gotten out of control. Yeshua was a Rabbi, a teacher, and a Jew not a Christian. More people have died in the name of Christianity than for any other reason in the planet. The time frames and The history of the bibles authors has never been black and white as your post insinuates. And also any critical thinking adult will approach the bible the same way you would any other book, research it with as much tenacity as possible, without letting emotions get involved. King Yeshua was a great man, that goes without question, but all the mythology added on to his story was just that, mythology. The priest he interviewed in the family tomb special was unmoved and responded that finding proof of the body of Jesus would not change his Christianity, and he leaves what happens to dead bodies up to God. In short, if he is indeed trying to disprove Christianity he is doing the worst job ever 😅 if anything his work has strengthened my faith lol

There’s probably something about Melchizedek that got left out somewhere along the line that would explain that better. That happens a lot with The Bible. Unfortunately, many of the scriptures are lost to time so we will never know. The ones we do have,….. some I don’t think have been deciphered correctly to this day. The people that wrote them would appear to like to refer back to other scriptures with alliteration and describe mundane things quite outlandishly. So many people are worried about revelations but I think that time happened a long time ago when the book was written. That’s what John of Patmos wrote about.

There is quite a bit available about Melchizedek, and it is interesting. Many have written much. Look it up. Unlike most Hebrew/Jewish priests, Melchizedek did not obtain his position through birth e.g. Aaronic priesthood. His priesthood, like King David/sons and the Christ, was bestowed by God. As for the Book of Revelation (no plural), some of it obviously is for an earlier time, and some of it is obviously for the time of His return. Seek and ye shall find.
