I wholeheartedly agree with the strongman and throwing points made at the end of the video. Just imagine an event where you have a strongman competition, olympic lifting competition, and a throws meet going on, all at the same venue. I would definitely pay good money to see that.

Definitely agree with the strength sports comments. Did shot in school, powerlifting all my adult life and recently came back to shot. Big opportunities for throws in that space.

I think Kovacs and Crouser should be looking over their huge shoulders because other countries are coming hard to compete in men’s shot-put this year and I for one can’t wait.

I completely understand Kovacs' ideas of implementing throwing events in and Weightlifting events. The issues i had with Michael Johnson's Track League comes down to: 1. His comments on storytelling with field events 2. Almost every new initiative is catered to track events The sport can absolutely grow with individualism via competitions and leagues. However, the coverage, the promotion, and the money must improve overall to benefit these throwing athletes. Otherwise, field eventers, especially throwers, will continue to be plagued by the disproportionate ways by World Athletics and organisers of separate events. Michael Johnson's comments of "We struggle to storytell with so many things happening at once." Whilst he appreciated that athletes should be recognised for their talents, he fails to comprehend that the schedules in Athletics doesn't provide field throwing events the space to coverage multiple rounds when its positioned with 100-800m races that finish quickly than placing them in periods where there long distance events going on to provide back and forth coverage (if no individual stream is available for throws). Field events can story tell but they need more time to do that, which they're not getting selfishly because of running events.

Every athlete has that question in their minds of whether they’re good enough. Whether that’s state, conference, nationals and the Olympics. I think Fabbri finally proved to himself that he’s good enough. Confidence is such a powerful asset and his progress proves that.
