As a counter-counterpoint, I think Franky would have been with his Mom, and it was Queen who decided to abandon Franky because he did not wamt to deal with him after her passing. Queen would have been a complete deadbeat dad and most likely completely absent from Franky's life. Also as to why Oda does not write theis stuff in the Manga anymore: It's most likely for Pacing reasons that he omits this and later discloses this information as a way for the fan to connect the pieces themselves. Maybe after One Piece is done, Oda could Fully flesh out all of these ideas and reveal every missing link, but right now, the Manga is extremely long as it is and while it looks like the Manga will end this decade, Egghead and Wano were very extended arcs, with Wano being rushed just to finish it in a decent pace. On that topic, I definitely don't believe One Piece is ending in Early 2030's like most people are claiming, but it definitely does not Look like it's ending Next year.

I'm definitely starting to feel weird about potential reveals being dropped in vivre cards, but I see all of this and things like the pacing speeding up at the end of wano as a result of Oda having unlimited ideas and him starting to realize that he doesn't want to/can't keep writing the story for 20 more years. ultimately, I love this series so I'm always happy to have more to chew on but I do wish everything notable was in the text. Though I will say I still prefer this do dropping lore reveals in non-canon movies like the shanks figarland connection. And good to have you back! Looking forward to more vids in the future

i can see the rationalization for franky not remembering queen that he suffered brain damage trying to stop the train Since this isent the first time something like this has happened in relation to franky. He was just as shocked as the rest of the crew when they met rayleigh he seemingly didn't remember Oden Shanks or buggy despite meeting Them all When Roger hired tom to make the oro Jackson. TLDR: Franky's brain could have been damaged resulting in him losing memories of not only queen but the roger pirates as well

Happy to see activity here again. This topic seems airtight. As long as there aren't any major interactions between Queen and Frankie, I think we can let it rock as a cool detail made for lorekeeping fans' enjoyment. Heck, I'm willing to say a shared scene where Queen tries to talk to Franky and is asked not to doesn't count as a major interaction. These two have built different ships out of the same parts, and that's all that needs to be said.

As for Zoro's backstory, it might get revealed when he fights Nusjuro or Mihawk since these three are implied to be connected. The word "dracula" means devil and is derived from the Latin dracō, which means “drake,” a word that describes a winged dragon, and he looks like the main villain from monsters and has the same eyes as Imu. Nusjuro is presumably a very old samurai from Wano that looks like Kuina's father but is bald. Zoro is the decedent of Ryuma, a man who killed a winged dragon, and is from a country with a serpent-like dragon as its guardian deity. Statues of serpent dragons can be seen in different countries that are allied with Joyboy, while the winged dragons are a symbol of the world government.

Oh also I agree with you, it doesn’t bother me that we didn’t get Queen and Franky interactions in Wano. If there was something interesting Oda was cooking between them, then it would have been included. But without some creativity, the obvious outcome of them recognizing each other is that neither gives a shit. Better that this is just a neat background detail, rather than a pointless diversion in the main plot (especially in the already way overbloated Wano arc).

Sanji is royalty, luffy is part of the monkey family, zoro is a descendant of ryuma, robin is the sole survivor of Ohara, nami has been insane at drawing maps since a child, franky was building battleships capable of mass destruction as a child, jinbei was basically a celebrity on fishman island, chopper doesnt need any explaining, usopp tells lies and they all come true, and brooks power is still a complete mystery that seems to be connected to the underworld and is theorized to have ties to the same power of the gorosei.

There are SO many moving pieces in One Piece that I don't blame Oda for editing stuff like this out of the story. He'd have to think of where, when and how to reveal this in a way that was elegant, and even then you have to ask yourself if it's even worth the trouble when it's not THAT impactful of a reveal, it's just like "Oh... neat." so I don't think it ultimately matters that it was omitted.

Oda has never premiered any insane information about the main characters like this. He has, however, had a history of teasing us like with Tashigi being reeeeeally close to being Kuina but it not being the case. There’s a chance Franky might be a clone or some kind of experiment by Queen but with there being absolutely no sign of any connection in either Egghead or Wano I find it all very unlikely.

When it was revealed that Franky’s parents were pirates a LONG time ago, young me had this strong belief that it was going to be Kaido, simply because he wore sunglasses in his silhouette (youth-logic). I feel happy that I got super close with his dad potentially being Kaido’s second-in-command!

I still believe (read: hope) there is an opportunity for a lot of personal arcs and revelations on a per-Strawhat basis, maybe as the crew make the final lap towards the One Piece after Laugh Tale. With NEO MADS out there scheming, we could even see Franky taking on Queen at the conclusion of his arc. That'd be a cool way to measure his growth since we've seen Queen tangle with a Strawhat already, and I think he has more than enough meaningful parallels to Franky to make that a good resolution

A very easy explanation for why Franky doesn't remember the MADS crew could be that, just prior to being abandoned, his memory was wiped so as to not leave any trace that could potentially implicate MADS. Memory wiping is something we know from the recent chapters that Vegapunk at least has the ability to do, as that's what he did to himself in order to not implicate himself to York.

I think stuff like this not getting confirmed only makes One Piece that much cooler. A lot of these mysteries and missing links aren't necessarily to the plot but add a lot of rabbit holes to fall down in. It’s pretty fair that a lot of other Straw Hat fans are miffed about how characters not named Sanji are getting their backstories revealed but I gotta agree with what you said, if it was that important, Oda would have drawn attention to it in the story proper. and this is me going into another theory, but Franky-Queen isn’t the Water Seven related family thing I’d be interested in with Wano, I fully believe that Sasaki has to have some kinda relationship to Granny Kokoro (the green hair, fish-men/mermaid, heavy drinking).

I don't think it's necessarily too late to acknowledge it in the panels. For all we know Vegapunk has no idea Franky doesn't know that Queen's his dad, so maybe Lilith will say something off hand and Franky will be like "HUH?" Or we'll find out Franky knew all along and was just too much of a chad to acknowledge it because he has no respect for Queen. I mean he's not like the younger crew members like Usopp who still idolizes his dad despite being abandoned. Franky's a 36 year old man. He's more than mature enough to make that decision to just cut Queen out of his life and not give him that acknowledgement.
