An awesome song! Video was filmed at Vasquez Rocks in Cali. The same location several episodes of Star Trek were filmed including the Arena where Kirk fought the Gorn and in the background you can see where Kirk pushed the fake boulder from above, The Outer Limits The Zanti Misfits episode and Blackfoot's Video for the song Morning Dew in 1984 used this same location.

I don't know if I knew this video even existed. Can't Keep Running is and was a great song. I always thought the entire album was good but the "allman brothers" purists always dismissed a album like this or the ABB Arista band albums even though they are both full of good songs. The allman brothers band Arista albums are full of great Gregg Allman vocals. The band might have been commercial and nothing like what Duane Allman had started but Gregg sounded GREAT on both of the albums. Anyway, Rest in Peace Gregg Allman, Dan Toler, Frankie Toler and Bruce Waibel.

I don't get how folks can diss the guys' solo stuff. Gregg, Dickey and the others put out awesome stuff. I'm personally not a fan of this song, but that doesn't mean it's a bad song/album.

@@SunyCartoons It's a good song and album. I probably like this album more than Laid Back. The songs are better written and Gregg didn't do all of the songwriting. Gregg's voice is more mature as well. Laid Back was fine as a first effort but Gregg proved over the years that he wasn't going to do much more as a songwriter. So I'm No Angel is kind of a good balance of Gregg's writing, his voice and an honest sound. The shadow of Duane's death didn't linger over this album. Laid Back had Will The Circle Be Unbroken and All My Friends and Multi-Colored Lady was a song about a guy on death row in prison. I'm No Angel was a complete rebirth for Gregg. People who don't like the album wanted more input from Gregg and it just wasn't going to happen. Gregg had habits and addictions and women to the left and to the right. Gregg never became a serious songwriter so this album worked very well for him. The follow up of Just Before the Bullets Fly just didn't have songs of equal value and appeal.

Gregg Allman Band is as good as ABB. Just whole different sound thats all. I was disappointed back in the 70's when I bought Greggs first solo album. But I quickly learn to love it when I realized it wasn't supposed to sound like live at Fillmore East. 🤣

Saw tour yhis album he played pier 84 in Manhattan next to INTREPID flat top they turned into a museum around 44st west side. Great place to see a outdoor CONCERT.

@@ozgunzaman4131 Well he could get hurt. Riding a horse is actually a pretty dangerous activity. Have you ever ridden a horse? I rode horses at a summer camp one year. I was just a kid and it was very easy to be AIRBORNE bouncing at the horse would gallop. It was also fairly painful. Women love a horse for obvious reasons. Men, if not careful, can have their balls pounded. Seriously, pounding a saddle or a horses backbone is something most people will never understand. Christopher Reed who played Superman in movies was paralyzed from the NECK DOWN to his feet, so YEAH, horses can be very dangerous. They can easily kill you, break your neck, back, stomp you to death, kick you in the face. A horse can fuck you up badly. People just don't know this anymore. I mean the average horse weighs about 1000 lbs and I just googled that. Approach a horse with respect and caution.

Its getting harder and harder to find good music these days or actually find good Music videos. I'm No Angel for one. Luckily I have the Music video for Sweet Freedom by Michael McDonald already from the Movie Running Scared. I have the Stingray app, and there is MTV Classic but mostly they play Junk too. There was a cool Documentary on not long ago about the Music Video. You had MTV & VH1 then all of a sudden they went with mostly Garbage Content with Zero Musical Value. I think the Sweet Freedom Video claimed Copyright Infringement. So the Video cannot bee seen is that the Idea. Music videos were made to be seen. Even if they were BAD!!!!!!!. Just like songs were meant to be played on the Radio uncut. They allow worse words then Bullshit. My other question is why is Shaking her Ass banned but Kicking their asses is not.

There's a reason MTV Classic is one of the bottom 5 cable channels out there, shocked it hasn't been taken off-air. It slowly went downhill in 2004-2005 when it was VH1 Classic, & they ditched a good chunk of their deep cut/obscure videos. Hell, when you had a 3 hour block of themed videos & the same artist appears every hour, sometimes twice, makes the channel look like a joke. MTV Classic showed promise when it emerged, but once 2017 began, it was like it's predecessor all over again. I swear, everytime I turn it on, it's the same crap every day, just switched up over different hours.

What a crappy song. What an embarrassing video. This was a sad time for the mainstream music in America. Record companies were forcing great musicians to put out crap like this just to make a paycheck. The only original bands were out of Seattle ( Grunge ) and places like Detroit and NYC ( Punk/Post Punk ) .. only because they were original and they refused to 'Sell Out' to the big record companies.
