But she's also dealing with a spooky grudge kitten ghost.. But unlike the little japanese boy ghost that sounded like a cat in the og American remake... its a ghost kitten that makes human sounds. More specifically.. sounds like brett from accounting at the nearby office building. The sound he makes just horrifies the pregnant stray... She's off doing her cat thing... when suddenly a ghostly kitten appears and makes the horrifying sound "i just made a pot of decaf if anyone's interested"

Maybe we would've got to see some things like the one final scene with the real estate couples. I’ll be honest. I really liked it. It wasn’t at all what I initially expected. I appreciated that about it. I agree that there were some typical jump scares, but I felt that the timing of them was deliberately offbeat. I found myself getting duped into thinking a jump scare was coming and didn’t. I also enjoyed how it tied itself into the timeline of the previous remade films. It felt cohesive in that way. Maybe not wholly original in some places, but from my perspective enjoyable. Yes, Lin Shaye stole all of her moments because she’s a master like that!

I'm a big fan of Ju on 1 and 2 and The Grudge 1 and 2 (really like the ending and how the curse spreads to America) The only thing i liked about this new one was seeing the Saeki home again and seeing Kayako's face in the newspaper. They rely way too much on the same jump scare of a ghost flashes for a second and disappears too fast to even see them. sebastian hale op thought the title was grunge, meaning dirt or a style of rock music popular in the 90s. grudge (the actual name of the movie) means resentment or ill will. nirvana was a popular grunge band, hence the joke mentioning them. hope this helps :)

Don't bother. Theres a jumpscare, it cuts to the outside of the house and you hear screaming and that's it. It just shows the house as the credits roll in front of it and you think something will happen but it doesn't

But Rings just genuinely sucked balls. I mean the whole Main Protag becomes Sadako was taken from the books/ Rasen. And they went too far ahead with the whole viral thing. The original japanese movies waited till Sadako 3D to have the video become a computer file
