Reporting from the country which has the biggest oil reserves on the planet and the biggest accumulative year-on-year inflation as well (2296,6% from may 19 to may 20). Ok there's only one GTX 280 being sold on the second market cost around 40$, but it needs to be shipped (which is a no go here for that type of articles, the reason, they open the package and steal it, I've already lost PC components beforehand and other things as well, and anyone sane here will tell you the same) if you wonder how much it cost in local currency it's about 8 400 000BsS give or take, BTW minimum wage for comparison is 400 000BsS...

This card is great for turning an old PC into a Retroarch emulation box for use with an old CRT TV since it has an s-video tv output. There are many old GPU's with this, and drivers that work on all the windows os's.

this is seems like it would be the perfect card for being a 2000s, early 2010s gaming PC, if you wanted to play the games of last gen, and wanted the best experience, superior to simply buying an xbox 360 and ps3 honestly, when building a PC to the era, this looks much more compelling than buying an 8800GTX.

Using a Gtx 275 right now. @ Core 730 Mem 1400 - (big oc on Mem) - My bottleneck is this Q8300 @2.5 GHz. - 30 FPS in GTA IV - Despite the name, Gtx 275 had overall better performance than 280, because 275 and 285 are newer. gg friend, have fun! Edit : I spent 36euro for this !

The Q8400 is a massive bottleneck. I use a 1030 myself and it can handle High 1080p50 easy. Your ram is most likely DDR2 so make sure it’s 800MHZ for the best performance

Honestly i think that card is better looking than any of Nvidias recent reference models. But the price is only great if you just so happen to have bought an old Sandy/Ivy Bridge e5 Xeon workstation with a 600w psu with gpu power plugs. Stutters are probably cause 1gb of vram is too low I had a 4890 which is comparable in performance to this card then Nvidia released gtx 285 in 2009 which was faster still.
