I was SHOCKED when all the monsters suddenly turned against Dream. I guess they realized what was going on when they saw Philza with Kristin. There are so many plot twists and the story keeps getting better! The monsters seem to work as a hive mind, what one sees they all see. Amazing work Grimmi!!

Ok, but can we talk about THE CHAINS?!? Every scene with them is so cool!! And even if they aren't fully animated I could imagine the movement and it's amazing. That one scene where Tommy is attacking Dream and he throws the book to Schlatt, you can see the chains around his hand for like one frame, but that one frame is so sick!! Also, we get to see everyone who's trapped fighting against the chains and that's awesome too because in the fic we couldn't really focus on everyone. It's a nice touch that CPK's arm isn't as covered in chains as he only got scratched but Eryn's is like almost fully covered because he got bitten.
