I think the best part is that they're in high school. Jeremy and Chloe might realistically realize they're better off as nerdy theater friends, boyf riends is just as plausible as any other ship since all of the characters are confirmed as not straight, so why not? It's also possible that they last all through high school but can't last through college, that's what I think is cool about stuff set in high schools.
