That is one beautiful man. And an excellent singer/writer.

Loved that Falsetto. His Octave range was way up there. Rhapsody is one of my favorites, It was banned when it first came out due to the lyrics. Rhapsody in the rain...And in this car, Our love went much too far. The windshield wipers seemed to say...together...together...together...

He sounded just as good as when he was popular in the early '60s! That classic 'I yi yi yi yi...' ☺️💜

His drummer is none other than Gary Mallaber, soon to join the Steve Miller Band afterwards.

He had just recorded a country album so he did some rather different songs to his earlier trademark hits like this one. His country album called Lou Christie is often known as Beyond The Blue Horizon- a very old song Mike Nesmith covered in his first (country) solo album in 1970 which is on the album and this Lou Christie version was in the film Rain Man. His version is just like Nesmith's minus an alarm clock ringing and other patent Nesmith quirks

He has a song by him that I like, but it's pervy about not being able to control ones self with an underage girl. "Lightning Strikes".

That’s not what it’s about at all😂Look at the lyrics it’s about having a girlfriend but not wanting to settle down because he still attracts beautiful girls attention
