The habitat of the North China leopard population in Shaanxi, has expanded northward by nearly 50 km

The North China leopard, also known as the Chinese leopard, is a rare and unique wild animal in China, which was once drastically reduced and on the hedge of extinction. This year, the wildlife conservation research team from Yan'an University has discovered that, with the continuous improvement of the ecological environment,the habitat of the North China leopard keeps expanding in shaanxi province, moving northward by nearly fifty kilometers from the core distribution area in Ziwuling.
