Love his old band members.. "I'd do it all again.. And for the same price... Which was NOTHING." My mom bought a Greatest Hits album of HW in the mid 70's. I liked his songs right away, even tho I didn't really care for Country Music. His songs are timeless.

❤️ this is a fabulously made documentary. Stellar. Hey I got to shake the hand of Roy Acuff right on the (empty) stage of the Grand Ole Opry at Opryland. We were taping a show on TNN and the green room and backstage access is universal during the day at least. It was the thrill of a lifetime for me

I'm not a big fan of country music at all but the story, songs, & ambition of Hank Williams just amazes me. I have the utmost respect for him, always will. the way he could tell a story with his music impresses me. the only other country musician that I love to hear is Johnny Cash. these two artist's were the only ones my mother & father could listen to at the same time. lol!!! other than that it's hard Rock & heavy metal for me. I just hope all the country fans can forgive me....

Hank Williams was a "GOOD OLE' BOY Southerner" who had 'Demon's' like the rest of us. The main difference between him and some others is, he COULD NOT SHAKE the 'DEMON OF ALCOHOL'!!!! And Hank Junior, even though he's Hank's son, needs to understand that his father was a 'TALENTED man', but a MAN NEVERTHELESS!!!!

kpzcbttp I’m sure it didn’t help. I cant help but think if he wasn’t on the road so much, he would have lasted much longer. It seems to me he did better at home. Then he’d go on tour, and it’d start up again. 🤷♀️. Of course it’s pure conjecture on my part. He was drinking long before she met him, she MUST have known what he was like. Doesn’t make it easy to live with, though.

Alkies like to blame their drinking on other people ("her nagging might have caused him to drink") but it's their own decision. Got nothing to do with anyone else. An alcoholic can't take one drink, ever. "One drink is too many and a thousand is not enough."
