Thank you so much! I didn’t use any diffusion. These contax lenses already produce some kind of blooming effect so no need for extra diffusion!

Hi I'm a beginner photographer, is the aperture adjustable and does this need an adapter for USA camera bodies? I'm considering this lens for product photos. Would this also be able to communicate with camera bodies for remote shooting since it's an older lens? Great scenes

It’s a fully manual lens, no electronics. The aperture is adjustable with a ring. But there is no communication with the camera at all, so no autofocus. You’ll need an adapter, which one depends on the mount of your camera.

@@jellewernik thank you! Since its completely manual does that mean it cannot remote shoot through an app or on a timer? I'd like to shoot myself as the subject, with newer camera bodies for canon I can remote shoot with a phone connect app, but I'm not sure if this lens would allow that

@@rulansmith remote shooting depends on the camera you are using. With timer is usually possible. Just be aware that you’ll have to set the focus and aperture before, you can’t change those remotely.
