I don't understand why people can't respect other people's experiences. I lived in Portugal and I absolutely hated it. Other African Americans swear by Portugal. I had never experienced so much racism in my life. That was my experience. Obviously, other African Americans are having the same experience. I respect that. But respect my experience as well. Racism in Brazil is no secret. The oppression of black people in Brazil is real. African Americans in the US complain, but Brazil has much more racism than the US. Much respect to this young man. I wish him the best of luck.

Are you sure about that? Bare in mind that racially motivated official murder of Black People on a regular basis by primarily White Police Officers is still standard practice all across America. This is a practice that's been taking place for centuries under the guise of self defense, fear or mistake against Black People in America. Now would you say that Brazil ks this Bad?

Ceezy is the one dude that always seems like he has a bad time anywhere he goes lol He has this monotone/indifferent kind of view point when speaking on his experiences. Your outlook is always going to be your experience. He hasn't experienced Brasil enough to form a concrete opinion(and it shows). Bro knows nothing. I solo traveled Rio twice. No issues, it made me hungrier for more and now i want to go to more places in that country to get a full understanding of what suits me.(Rio is one place in a large very diverse country)

Sounds like his Brazilian lady friend there changed/shaped his entire outlook on Brazil in a negative way. I'm not saying his experience was not as he say but his mind has been so easily influenced. Also, he does not express his thoughts well at all. It's hard to listen to him speak.

Everyone has a mindset about the things experienced. He is young and travelling to see other countries. No one has paid for his trips. He has submitted words that need to be reflected upon, therefore, It is an absolute disrespect to characterise him as is. There is a suggestion; you could save money and travel the world to see for yourself and report accordingly, then see how many humans would agree with your findings. Goo luck.

@@zebharbenshallom836 I don't characterize anyone of anything that they haven't already characterized THEMSELVES as. It's easy to tell when someone is speaking with lack of concrete evidence. Bro talks as if he has the facts when its clear the only information he has is purely anecdotal.

@@Jericho2488 I see, you are trying your best to be an intellectual/ academic writer. Advice: keep on trying and eventually, you will get there. Your submissions of words say a lot about you. Exactly. the fact that you have Americans citizenship and the USD in your pocket definitely helped you avoid the discomfort and discrimination associated to blackness. Trust me, you would not had the same quality experience if you were black brazilian or at work black Africans. That is why I would advise black Americans in Brazil to always wear elegant and speak English's. Because you could easily be killed by a brazilian police officer if he thinks you are a black local. Black passport Bro should avoid poor areas and Favelas. For your info there are more black brazilians dying at the hands of police in brazil than in USA.
