That looks like a fantastic event. I've ridden many of those climbs. Ribblehead, Buttertubs, Tan Hill, Grinton Moor, Kidstones, but not on the same ride! The scenery around there is amazing. I rode an Etape du Tour a few years ago covering 230km and 4500m climbing but I know that it wasn't as tough as this ride as the gradients are more even and although very hot much less wind. I might give this a go.

Hi Katie, I watched stage 4 tour de yorkshire and did Tanhill, Buttertubs, cray to hawes climbs today. Very pleased, and I loved it despite being hard and very hot. Inspired a bit by you 👍. I won't be giving cycling up anytime soon

Well i did it,my 1st 100k this year.it rained from start to finish but worth it in the end..5hrs, so happy with that as it was a weebit hilly.Have to say watching your videos makes me get off my arse and do it..thanks ☺

Try the dales grimpeur in may from Patley Bridge about May time. Or the Seasons of the Mist from near you in Hebden Bridge in October. Both ace audax events and bloody tough to boot.

Thanks KC :) I was kind of keeping an eye on it and was aiming for between 2 and 3 watts per kilo for the ride and it was exactly that. I just went steady most of it :)

I used to think the EXACT same thing. You can do it!! Stick at it and keep chipping away and you will do it :) I used to be able to barely ride 10km so if I can do it anyone can :) x

haha youve not seen anything like that 2:20min.. thats pendle hill ... i run that fucker .. pendle is the best fell in lancashire by a mile if not the north west,, its got steep climbs some technical some boggy and marsh land and its got the single tracks that weave between the ferns etc... awsome hill! you climbed from sabden up to the pass.. the view coming down is of the ribble valley and CLITHEROE yay .. now you know why i love living here(there)
