Even then it was worth it to see them thriving happily in their secret underground kindergarten/orphanage area and later see them grow up and start families in the good end. I hate that they were scared of me in my one playthrough where I killed all of them for the trophy. That was depressing. But tbf I also longed for the trophy related to the artists guys house. I immediately shot him in my playthroughs all the time he comes down the stairs lmao. Hated that psycho

Tbh, that would completely changed how you played the game. Imagine being restricted to only use like 2-3 plasmids the whole game while the Harvest route you could get all of them.

For RE7 Zoe fate remains the same regardless of choice (-if you choose Zoe, she get crystallized by the main villain not long after the choice, leaving Ethan alone. Only for her to be saved by her uncle in the DLC. While in this ending, Mia get captured and mind controlled by the villain to fight Ethan, just to die in his arms. -but if you choose Mia, Zoe still get crystallized but offscreen and saved by her uncle. While Nia still get captured and mind control by the villain, but because Ethan chose her, she survive. So basically the only difference is if you choose Zoe, Mia die, if you choose Mia, she live. Also choosing Mia is the canon ending, as in RE8 she’s alive and her and Ethan have a daughter)

I only killed all sister in one single playthrough for the PS3 trophy...that was a horrible feeling. I didn't do it for the powers and ressources but the damn bad ending trophy. Plus tbh killing may SEEM like it makes you more powerful but in reality saving them makes you even stronger because the teddy bears they gift you contain strong skills for free like the OP bees one. That shit is breaking the game

Pat you should know in the elderscrolls the redguard fought off the thalmor invaders by themselves after the empire sold them out to the thalmor and abandoned them. So the empire is pretty useless

I guess the drawback of not getting more ADAM is that you have less options in your Arsenal and make the game about 50% harder or get ALL the ADAM and become a Walking God that desintegrates anything that gets in the way. BUT if your smart, explore and Hack everything its not that bad getting less Adam.

Fun fact about Fable 2, The ending choice kinda doesn't matter. The DLC knothole Island makes the Sacrifice and Love ending inconsequential. On the island, there is a crypt which will bring the dog back to life, An innocent civilian must be sacrificed you don't lose any goodness or purity by doing so.

In my first playthrough (i didn't finish it by the way) thats one of the mistakes that if i ever played again yeah I wouldn't be doin that again but yeah I didn't feel bad at the time because I didn't know what the heck was going on I didn't know what the heck just happened so now that I know what's going on yea its one of those deadpool 2 post credit scene type things

For Skyrim, i always choose the empire: -stormcloak act out of emotional impulses, not seeing the bigger picture (they’re ready to put someone like ulfric as leader just because he promises them independence, while himself being a racist power hungry man) also independence would just make them and the empire weaker against the thalmor While the empire bide their time. They don’t like the thalmor neither, but have to tolerate them for now, because they aren’t strong enough yet to take them on.

In Fable 2......I picked the money. I didn't actually think about the slaves much, and by the end I had already gotten all buried treasures. I didn't know if the sister would come by at the age she died, or if she would come back as a 12-14yo in the body of a 25yo. Plus, I REALLY wanted the mad scientist's Mansion. Which was exactly the cost of what you got in the Money choice.

I don't think Fallout 4 counts. Sure, it's a hard choice... but not because of moral dilemma or anything like that, it's because all factions suck. Minutemen are the most neutral ones, which makes them the best one... but that's because a blank slate is better than other options in that game. Skyrim's choice comes down to... are you going to overlook a grudge of almost executing you in the prologue or not? If you are, there's no reason to join Stormcloaks. If you like Jarl Ballin, you go Empire. If you don't want Thalmor to win, you go Empire. If you don't like the oppression of Dark Elves, you go Empire. If you have fond memories of Imperial Guards from Oblivion instead of Arrow To The Knee Guards, you go Empire. I recommend watching Avarti's Why Ulfric Stormcloak is an Idiot, as well has his Why General Tullius is a Genius.

Less options to pick and in 2 you can't max out All plasmids to lvl 3. The thing is if your smart and explore it kinda evens out. Hacking is probably the most broken thing in Bioshock too.

Yeah, in BioShock 1 there is absolutely no reason to harvest a little sisters if you free them you get way more Adam than you would if you harvest them because Bioshock 1 gives you those teddy bear gifts like every three seconds. Bioshock 2 however makes the decision more challenging because you only get 2 teddy bear gifts if you save all of them. Harvesting in 2 gives you way more Adam. So it becomes more down to do you want to be a monster or a good dad.

Ah Skyrim, the game within which both faction options suck. Side with the bloated and corrupt empire, OR, side with the guys trying to make an ethnostate. Tough choice, shouldn't these have positives?

It does have positives but it requires to read between the lines. I side with the Imperials every time. Ulfric is not only a racist but he’s short sighted and an idiot being manipulated by the Thalmor. They want this war to destabilize the Empire and take Skyrim after the civil war is over and it’s too weak to fight back. General Tulius knows this is their plan and wants to win the war so the Empire can regain their strength and beat the Thalmor later, temporary sacrifice for permanently solved problems later. The question is absolutely easy for me. He intends to hold true to the treaty for now but doesn’t intend to keep it forever, he wants freedom for Skyrim too it’s just not the right time, the Empire lost a recent war to the Thalmor and Skyrim was plunged into a civil war weakening it more. They can’t fight the Thalmor right even if they wanted to (and they do) so they have to play along for now and strike later.

Personally, I've never seen the control or synthesis endings for ME3 to be viable. We spent three games finding out what happens to people who fuck around (Saren in 1, TIM in 2 and 3) with the Reapers and why those outcomes would be bad. Therefore, destroy is the only viable ending to me even if the geth and EDI are sacrificed. "The horrible calculus of war" line that Garrus drops really has weight, even if you don't recognize it in the moment. It's possible that they could be brought back somehow since they're AI, but I won't worry about hypothetical outcomes too much.

its matter of perspective. even though from POV of humanity reapers are what seem to be the worst thing imaginable considering what they are doing, from reapers POV they are commiting massive genocide on interplanetary level in order to allow "life" itself to continue to exist. By eliminating reapers you remove the only thing preventing worst case scenario from happening so by killing the reapers which again i understand is currently the worst case scenario humanity have to deal with, you are actually failing to see the bigger picture. Failing to see the forest from the tree is the saying that comes to my mind. By destroying the thing that is controlling the cycle of life you opened the door for much greater threat that will simply eradicate the concept of life. For sake of humanity in short term destruction of reapers is best option, but for sake of life itself that is worst option in long term

fallout 4 is pretty easy if you look what the factions have as a effect on the commonwealth railroad: i don't think a secret organization that basically only cares about saving synths should be the ones running the commonwealth, mostly because they don't really have the arsenal, they have good intentions, but don't really execute them that well BoS: they may have the best arsenal, most strength and such, their hyper racism and near n*zi-like tendencies in Fallout4 don't really make them much of a good choice, plus, they will outright kill people if they aren't on the brotherhood their side or have any technology that could be seen as advanced, this is also why they will attack the minutemen if they get big enough too (aka, the reason why they had attacked the ncr in fallout new vegas, but lost), also, there is a big chance they killed the entirety of rivet city (fallout 3, the city that was built in a aircraft carrier) for the nuclear core so they could get to boston faster institute: "for the betterment of humanity" and then proceed to take away basically all humanity and treat those synths as slaves, no thanks, also, father is a asshole that saying the death of their other parent is just collateral damage minutemen: whilst easily being *the* weakest faction around, they are objectively the ones that are the best at heart, their cause is to help the people of the commonwealth against raiders, gunners etc. they basically are like the player when they come out of vault 111, at lv1 but the more you invest in them, the stronger they get a good content creator named Oxhorn goes over these topics too, he does say both BoS and the Institute are considered evil, railroad good but with some flaws and the minutemen objectively the best choice albeit the longest one to work with

The Problem with most games is simple: there is no answer, because you are not given the choice to do what you want. For example the Dragon Age one... just... kill them all or at least, do it in a different way. Since i havent played some games, here the answers to them that i did: - The Bioshock one. Little sisters are mutants in the form of little kids, i never got the feeling to empathise with them, so i flipped a coin depending on the circumstances. Was the little sister hard to get? drain her. Was she just crawling around and i had to pick her up? save her. do i need a lot of adam atm? drain her and so on. TBH i never understood why the player didnt just sucked the adam out of her syringes and kept the little sister around to gather more adam out of the splicers you kill. - Fallout 4. Railroad? Nah, they just care about synths and nothing else. Institut? They produce synths and do bad things, so also a no. Brotherhood? The most xenophebic and egoistic group on the planet? no. Minutemen all the way. The new Minutemen that the player creates cares about all people: ghouls, synths, humans, even super mutants and robots to some extent. - Fallout: NW. That one was a hard one for me. Freeside was a good option in my opinion, but since helios one was either secured by the NCR or the Brotherhood, who totally can change my choice who gets the electricity... i would rather use it for myself or destroy it. Hoover Dam brings a lot of electricity to begin with, why change things.

Mass effect 3 only has one right decision: merge. Destroy does absolutely nothing, the games even explain why, when they state that the Reapers already were destroyed once before. They just come back, they ALWAYS come back, and destroying them just delays things once again sluffing off the fate of the universe to someone else down the line. Someone who may not be able to stop them. It is also explained in-game that the reapers are attacking because they see non-synthetics as a threat; merging removes their reason for destruction.

ME3, sacrifice is bad option cause you can remove all hints of synthetics but it is only matter of time before another race in future repeat same mistake and next time it happens there wont be reapers to save the rest of universe from the doom. control option is best solution as long you believe shepard wont get corrupt and his mind twisted the same very reapers had. Synthesis is only "good option" because it is step forward toward solution that reapers did not predict thus it solves the reaper problem and it also is one step forward to solving the actual problem in universe which is interplanetary racism as well as discrimination towards ai. by making every race both organic and synthetic you create superior race that is less prone to act on feelings and not as eager to act upon its survival instinct due to short life span. and only way to unlock syntesis is by making all the choices you did in all 3 games, creating pacts and solving problem all around universe etc... if you end up killing either quarians or geths you cant do synthesis, that is the beauty of synthesis ending. 1. destroying the reaper only leads towards the worst case scenario for whole universe that reaper were preventing (similar to the time master in loki before he was killed in last episode) 2. controlling reapers is short term solution that relies on sheperd's self control and kind nature but it is only matter of time before sheperd come to same conclusion reapers did which you can learn about in leviathan DLC 3. refusal to choose changes nothing, reapers finish doing what they did to protheans and to many other generations before them all the way back to first generation of races which include leviathans 4. synthesis is only option that provides solution to THIS problem. it does not imply or alude to future without problems though, it only means that problem that reapers failed to solve and only figured out how to avoid is actually solved in more acceptable manner. This IS objectively best choice and that is exactly the reason why this option is locked behind high lvl military strength, it is not because you need military power to achieve it, in fact other two that are always unlocked does not require military power to begin with. but it is hiding behind said limit because in order to go above it you need to make pact between quarians and geths to gain both of their armies, otherwise it is impossible to unlock this option no matter how many batarians you spare and convince to join your side
