An interesting thing I learned from the video where Doug, Rob, and Tony Goldmark talk about the film is Eisner didn't want too many references to the ride in the film and in early drafts of it they had the Groundskeeper character from the ride and he would have been played by Don Knotts!

(To Part of that World tune) 🎵I want to be where the 🧟‍♂️ zombies are, I want to see them attack civilians, Walking undead eating- Whaddya call it? Oh yeah, 😈 you! Rick Baker touches up every scar, I'd feel alive while I mu--er millions, Jumping from darkness, I'd- What's my line again? ... 👻Boo! I want that set! I want that 🪑 chair! I always figured the butler summoned the demons expecting them to attack the guests because he genuinely thought he was in the right and they were the evil ones for ruining his plan. Obviously though the only true bad guy is the butler himself for killing someone and trying to kill them so the demons immediately go for him.

Glad the NC reactions are still going!! The NC video I could recommend most is his review of Nutcracker 3d aka the movie with the lowest rating on rotten tomatoes, because the real life stuff I feel like is the best of any review and has a really great lesson of why balancing the dark and light elements is so important and why Nutcracker 3d fails to do that. You got it wrong. This movie was released in 2003, shortly after the first "Pirates of the Caribbean". I looked up the children while watching this video. Both have been in TV and other movies. The girl might have quit Hollywood. Her last role was in a movie released in '09. The boy is still acting to this day. I watched this movie numerous times on DVD, my favourite part being the singing heads. I even wrote a speech on the making of the movie in grade six. My school always mandated speeches to present after Christmas for grades 4-8. Don't hate me for the movie making me laugh as a kid.

I am hoping the Rosario Dawson Haunted Mansion is good, but I have concerns given the people behind the scenes and camera, or supporting cast like Owen Wilson, who was already in another botched haunted house movie, The Haunting (1999). It probably will be better than Eddie Murphy's version, but so far, Muppet's Haunted Mansion has been the most successful. And even ones done by Guillermo Del Toro, who should be directing Haunted Mansion, like Crimson Peak, are more faithful than the Eddie Murphy Haunted Mansion.

I have watched the original Haunted Mansion movie and cannot wait for the remake/reboot that's coming in July! And it has been a long time since I watched the original and forgot that I didn't like it! Knock wood that Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Jared Leto, and Jamie Lee Curtis did a better job than Eddie Murphy! Have you considered reacting to Some Jerk With a Camera? He does Theme Park reviews at the actual parks and they have a fun, wild, sense of humor. He did his own review of this film with two horror reviewers, and I think it's a little better. With more detailed analysis of the Cats in the Cradle story, the unfortunate implications of this film that takes place in Louisiana being about a white man being in love with a black woman (especially with the version of the ride in Disneyland being based on a plantation) and how making the happy ending of the film the ghosts leaving the mansion to go to heaven completely goes against how the 999 happy haunts are meant to be HAPPY! How they love haunting Gracie Manor and find it "delightfully unlivable", and how having them only living there because of some curse is like a Pirates of the Caribbean movie ended with Jack Sparrow becoming an accountant instead of a pirate.
