I listened to this for a half hour and turned it off, when I heard words that I had heard before in a 1958 movie called Auntie Mame, starring Rosalind Russell. She sent her nephew to a new style of school and there along with other teachings (the 3 R's I imagine) they played leapfrog naked. Anyone else remember those words? Or see the movie? I was 12 when I saw Auntie Mame and I find it strange to hear those exact words again and remember having heard them.

@@laankebygg3685 - It's interesting to watch this very old production and realize that time does not change everything. That the advancements in technology, education, access to self-help books, access to paid mental health providers like psychologists, has not improved quality of life for a lot of people. When Elaine described how ecstatic she was when her first child was born, but then admitted that she "knew nothing about what to do", I felt like I stood in her shoes when my first child was born. I've never loved anyone or anything with the ferocious intensity that I loved my child when she was placed in my arms, but when it came time to go home from the hospital I nearly panicked. What did I know about parenting? I knew where the diaper went and I had learned in the hospital how to breastfeed, but what did I know about "raising" a child to an adult, a well-adjusted adult, an intelligent and compassionate adult? I could follow in my parents footsteps and do what they had done, but I already knew that I was going to NOT do some of the things they'd done. We were well loved and well cared for, but there were times when depression came into the room and stayed among us for days. My stiff-upper-lip British father was determined that his children would be suitable to present to the Queen Mother. He didn't use physical punishment on us but he had a way with words that often left one of us wishing that he HAD just hit us instead! And there is a frightening, terrible movement occurring around the world right now, where some 20 million mothers have been ghosted by daughters who have become estranged from them, coached by "woke" psychologists who are pushing "the mother wound" theory and telling young women that their mothers are "toxic". While Elaine's generation of mothers were "inadequate" because of lack of parenting knowledge, we are no further ahead 70 years later.

My mom always told me to let her know if anybody touched me "in your private place." I told her when I was 5 about her brother-in-law and she just told me to stay away from him. Now, 51 years later, she says she doesn't believe it happened. I guess that helps her sleep at night. Her brother-in-law died of lung cancer. I was hoping it spread to his genitals. She actually said "I thought you forgot all about that." You never forget. I grew up afraid of men. How can you not protect your child?

Same. I was 8 and told my mother about her boyfriend, she then married him and he terrorized our family for years. As soon as they divorced it was treated as if nothing ever happened. She still to this day so many years later swears it never happened. I stopped caring what she thought. It's a sick world. I'm sorry we're in the same boat.

I know it's a lot different, but it just reminds me of when my brothers friend snuck in my room at night... I told my mother what happened and all she said was "well, boys will be boys". And this had stuck with me for so long. When I told my mother about it or try to talk to her about it, she suddenly doesn't remember. It was one of the few times that my mother has let me down. Children remember, especially when something like this.

Not every child is molested. Molesters avoid kids with strong self worth and parents that listen to them. Children that are neglected, come from single parent homes, lonely kids, abused and beaten kids - are far more likely to become serial victims of childhood rape. It's as if we have a neon flashing sign above our heads that says " no one cares about this one"... they see us coming from a mile away... My own mother sold me as a wee child of 2 years old until I ran away at 12. No one cared to help me, everyone knew, EVERYONE KNEW...

@@devonsmith5135 I'm so sorry you went through this... My mother was the meanest women I ever met, she thought I was spoiled and a brat because I refused to play nice. I never letthat woman see me cry, I refused to give her the pleasure. Something about our body language or the way we look at the ground when we walk, never smile to avoid some pervert from thinking we are smiling for them, draws them to us... Predatory adults know who we are on sight - they can spot us from miles away... In another feed I have some man telling me how it's not the men's fault, as if men are no less responsible for their actions than a rutting dog around a bitch in heat...that I should just be angry with my mother, not the men who abused me while I cried and begged...they should get a free pass...it's so darn frustrating trying to get men to see that if they were not out looking for children to molest, mother's like mine who are drug addicted, wouldn't have that option of selling their kids...that we should blame the female and not the men... As bad as it was what my mother did, she wasn't the one molesting me, those were men. Men took pleasure in my torture, not women...who is more evil? The one committing the act or the one being taken advantage of? I find whenever someone is willing to excuse the behavior of others it is because they share similar interests... Stay strong, love yourself and forgive yourself. You were just a child, not responsible for the actions of adults... Lay that burden down a the feet of those it belongs to...it's not yours to own or carry...forgive the child who was unable to fend off adult advances. Love yourself. ❤

So many act like this wasn’t something going on everywhere. As the years go by and I am almost 60, the horrors I have seen and heard of from all kinds of “regular “ people is staggering. Molesting children is far more common then we care to admit. It’s the real pandemic and it’s horrifying to know mothers who ignored it. And there are many. I am adding this as an apology to the young men who were molested by women as well. And that is close to home. There are no boundaries with this evil.

Yep. I started to realize this in my late teens/early 20s, and began realizing that the vast majority of people I shared a deeper than surface level relationship ship with had all been in some kind of inappropriate interaction with an adult as a child. I’m only discovering this evil in my early 50’s and horrified I wasn’t aware of such things. I guess I led a sheltered life with my parents still married and NEVER WERE abusive, violent or unloving/unsupportive. My heart aches realising this was not the average childhood like I had always assumed. To see the aftermath now after experiencing a physiologically abusive relationship - I began digging deeper on WHY someone could end up being the total opposite of who they initially presented to be. How could they sabotage such a priceless gift and cause so much trauma for no reason? It all goes back to adverse/abusive childhood trauma. These mental health industries are in the business of misdiagnosing/over medicating not addressing the core issues. No money or Loosh in that 🤷🏼‍♀️ These judicial authorities, pretend politicians, CEO’s & people of high influence are in the business of trafficking/peDo feelia/Satanic rituals - born into satanist families, go to Demorlay Mason schools, often had their gender transitioned to the opposite sex!!! I kid you not - most of these people are trans - Born Male now Female Born Female now Male - must marry/partner with the opposite and do the same all over again with their own children. This goes way way back to ancient times - history hides the truth and gaslights deception. Only now they have just become so brilliantly good at extracting maxim quality Loosh, its surveillance, and the silencing.

Not really. They were probably conditioned to disrespect the mother and have reverence for the father from birth. To always put him above her. It's a common control mechanism. She's likely also been gaslighted for years. Which is likely what she meant by her reference to having issues herself. So when she didn't immediately and completely accept what her husband said, she became the enemy. This also explains why she kind of caved along the way as his admissions came out. 'Well if it was only 1 by then...i guess it's not a big deal. But now that it's 2 I feel so betrayed that he lied'. Until she is then conditioned to accept that 2 boys is not really a big deal etc etc. I'm not surprised at the anger being directed to her at all.

I’m so sorry to hear these stories of betrayal and pain. When I was in grammar school in Savannah, Georgia, I used to walk to school. Two shady looking men were very slowly driving by me, and both looked at me as they passed, then stopped, opening the doors to get out. I was only a half block from my house and I took off like lightning. I got home breathless and told my dad. I was shocked he took off after them and actually caught up to them. After a tense discussion, he believed when they said one was a mechanic and the other, the car owner. A false alarm. Still, I remember being so filled with, idk, love that he not only believed me but charged after them to discover the truth. He didn’t make a big deal out of it but it meant the world to me that he so readily defended me. All children deserve that. I’m stunned by the numbers of victims.

She knew exactly what he was doing. I went back to confront him when I was older but he died a few months earlier. I wanted to tell his wife but she was looking after her daughter’s baby (father unknown)... she knew but didn’t want to hear it coming from my mouth, it was in her eyes. I never forgot and still at times have nightmares. It never goes away.

I really believe that the father abused all three of his sons, not just the one. The one son David working with children just disgusts me. The video he made shows just how mentally disturbed he really is. The former student interviewed while laying on the couch is not only creepy, but I think he's lying through his teeth. The son who was convicted drove in the car and said nothing happened, that he saw nothing. And then he got up in court and said that his father raised him "confused" and he wished that it "never happened". The whole family blatantly outright lies every chance they get. I wonder why the third son wasn't involved in the documentary?

I'm in my '80s when I was a young girl and we found out 11-year-old got molested or that a man tried to pick her up. Honestly you had women that would say I wonder what she did to entice him. I kid you not. Just a few years ago there was a girl that was molested by her gym teacher and my aunt said I wonder what she did that enticed him and made him molester. Believe me I went off on my aunt like there was no tomorrow. When I was 11 my neighbor tried to molest me. But I kicked in between the legs and ran. I also knew if I was to tell my mom she would have said what did you do to entice him. I know she would have. So I hid and I would never tell anyone until I was in my forties. But it haunted me everyday. I would not be caught alone around him at all. It's a horrible feeling to go through your life. But I can't imagine if he honestly got a hold of me. My dad would have killed me. But I also know if I told my dad my mom would have come back after me. But I do know my dad would have killed the man and went to prison. And I didn't want my dad going to prison. too much is this goes on and for women to turn their head it's evilness. A lot of women are afraid to be alone they think oh at least I got a husband that's nonsense. Nowadays there's help. But I also understand about a woman being controlled mentally. I any molester should be hung by their genitals until dead.

If you have suffered child sexual abuse then you know no matter how young you was it stays with you for life, doesn’t matter how much therapy or medication it does not fade. Mostly men makes me wanna throw up Because no women initiated wars , raped men or women or oppressed men as house slaves, lead “great” conquests to aboriginal lands and seized the whole population. No current mass murderer populist leader were women (hitler, stalin, putin, mao, ayatollah xy,korean, chinese, every nations’ sick psycho rulers, corporate ceo..s) Every week 1-2 women are killed by their expartners/current partners The Bible, the religious laws enabled all this, helped sick societies to be formed. All MALE dominance over - women! -other weaker social groups like kids, homosexuals, disabled, blacks, poor - everything is about OWNING property Men are in charge of OWNING everything Women were not allowed to go to school, to vote, to have ANYTHING!! Marriage was (IS) a means of a male to have offspring with which he could ensure inheritence will be taken on. HIS name will remain in the “knowledge” for all. Women dont have their mothers’ name when they are born. They have to bear their father’s name - meaning: they belong ti the fathers’ property When they get married they get their husbands’ name, meaning now they are the property of their husbands!! Its a disgusting crime men committed against women selling and buying women between them. And yes, actually MANY MEN eeven today THINK they OWN their wife, they OWN their CHILdREn. Sick world which men created So , Nooooooo!!!!! I will not take the blame and say all the humanity is responsible for what has happened in human history. Its a fucking lie. Women were not allowed to be in ANY decision making position since the Laws Of Hammurabi. Then the Bible secured they stayed under the “supervision” of men. Just like iskamic laws did the same. Same tendency happened in Asia, India no matter they also had originally less rigid religions and “seemingly” more nature friendly spiritual trends. Since agriculture started, men took over gradually everything! Women used to be the guardians of family possessions, were responsible of distributing everything equally… Well that changed a lot. I wont continue this But … Bear in mind: You as a woman couldnt have been accused of shit history of humanity in the last 6-7000 yrs. Cos YOU HAD NO RIGHTS! Educate yourself in patriarchy, kingdoms, social classes, women’s rights, everything. Educate yourself how Europe conquered America (not women of course..), how Christian male god admirers murdered the whole populations (millions of people) of Native Americans. How the first male priests founded the first brothels to sell prostitutes …. Its all about MEN Im sorry You can see these stupid ones here. They were the ones forming our societies

Jesse's claiming that his father had a sexual relationship with him to his attorney (who has almost zero motivation to have lied about it), saying/admitting the same thing in court to the judge, and then later in a video tape saying it was all trumped up by his attorney, is ridiculous. Dad (Arnold) was a child molester who ultimately couldn't keep his hands off (at least one of?) his own kids, admitted to with regularity, over a lengthy period, molesting his younger brother, and later in life even a close friends child and possibly others. What is there to defend about the guy? To me both Jesse's brothers seem off as well, with the oldest choosing a profession that regularly puts him in proximity to children. Of course the mother felt left out. This was some kind of twisted incestuous 'boys only club' the father created/nurtured with his own kids and others to satisfy his long standing pedo desires. No doubt secrets will be taken/lies will be perpetuated to the grave with this group.

@@brittany7252 I am sure that's true, the subconscious mind also can work to mask and protect us from what is incomfortable/painful. Likewise guilt, shame, the desire to not be publicly 'outed' and the misguided desire to protect ones preferred parent, imagining you are protecting a special 'relationship' ,all could play a role. The oldest son needs to be legally barred from any contact with minors i.e. legally forced to find a new line of work if anyone where he lives has any intelligence and appreciation for how inappropriate/dangerous to children it is for him to be engaged in that profession. The father is a crippled monster, and unfortunately spread his mental illness to his offspring, permanentley damaging them. That's my take.

The fact every man in the family blamed and abused the wife of the pedophile says loads about them. Misogyny to an insane degree. Those sons should NEVER get married or have kids. Also the fact they only made excuses for Arnold, felt for HIS misery in prison, when he was the perpetrator. His brother, whining about his poor good brother...and his baaaad wife who divorced him. Glad she found a second chance with a hopefully decent man. I eould never let David the clown near a child. And his hatred of his mother is palpable. He seems to be in a childish state of blaming everyone but his cowardly father, who chose the easy way out. And that headstone ...HORRIBLE. Lije his victims never mattered. As far as the relationship with the sons and their dad, I think it’s a big case of emotional manipulation and severe codependency. I had a severe codependent relationship with my father up until 6 months ago. My father never abused me, but he did subtly demonize my mother my entire childhood, and even today. Today since they are divorced, he very brazenly attempts to demonize her. After getting sober and seeking outside opinions is when I finally realized how codependent my relationship with both my parents is but more severe with my dad. Even tho I believe he doesn’t really know what he’s doing, he’s still doing it and it took asserting a lot of boundaries with him to finally distance myself and become a true adult.

I am 71 and this documentary stirred a lot of memories from my past. Growing up, I saw a few things about my dad that made me uncomfortable. He went to R rated movies and read bad books, I did know that and now realize temptations I had that would probably not have been happening if this was not my heritage!. But just in the last few weeks my sister told me about things he did to them, beating a bunch of us, throwing down the stairs, ripping hair out, forcing my brother to leave, inappropriate touching, that would have put him in jail nowadays and our mom never intervened. Maybe she was scared?! They are 93 and 94 and have been apart for almost 50 years, since he left her with 6 kids still at home. He ran off and moved in with the secretary. I was married and 23 but it still has affected me greatly all these years. We just traveled to his sister's 90th birthday party in another state, for 5 days, them and 4 of us "girls" (we are all retired). First, our aunt let us know our grandpa used to beat both sons and even beat her once! Was this a thing from the Depression and War years? So the 5 of us being together, we saw "the secretary" hit and kick my dad, both yelled at each other and got way worse with alcohol. Terrible. My sisters were watering down the wine and the gin she snuck in water bottles in her suitcase. Dementia is reigning now too. She is way worse than him although 10 years younger. They never married each other and one of the yelling matches was her saying "You never married me!", and him yelling, "I asked you 3 times down on my knee and you said "'NO'!" I asked my sisters if this was true and they said "Yes". I don't know much because I was the one who got avoided, probably because I am the only one who still goes to church, the way he raised us. My mom never went. He was not a very good example. We never prayed at home for meals or anything, and also because of his pornography. He also got her pregnant in 1950 while at college. That was me. My sisters knew because mom told them how she was so devastated when she came back from Christmas and told him. He immediately left for a week with a bunch of friends for California and left her alone. They did get married 7 months before I was born, but have never even told me this. My husband figured it out because they never celebrated anniversaries. Talk about growing up in a dysfunctional family but you don't know anything else so you think it is normal! Our other sister that has passed away, accidently came upon my dad yelling at the next younger sister, while she was curled up on the livingroom floor, naked. They did not see her. This was when the girls were teens. My dad must have gotten worse because I was the oldest and had moved on by then and never saw this stuff. On this recent trip, I saw that the live-in secretary was a narcissist (and what self-respecting woman would take a man away from a wife of over 20 years and six kids still at home?) I think my dad must be too. Narcissism is a new peice of education that is explaining a lot of things to me! The worst was when my dad said "Your mom liked her horses better than me" Us girls challenged him right away about how mean he was to her in numerous ways and I said, that it was not about horses! He is so delusional. Needless to say, my kids never spent much time around him and never alone! All three of my brothers are not living normal lives either and there are only 2 grandkids among them, belonging to the most damaged oldest brother who stays away from our dad. He is extremely hard to live with. So much sadness and lots of praying. Thankfully, God is good!

I was molested by my aunt's husband for years. When it came out she stood by his side. The judge said if he could he would have put her in jail also for knowing it was happening and not stopping it. I tried to tell my mother when I was nine, two years after moving away from him, and she said that's nice. It was while watching a show starting how children will often try to tell their parents about abuse by saying "me and so and so have a secret". I told her that and she said "that's nice"! Five years later my step mother finally got me to admit what happened.

I cannot believe those sons have such little respect or compassion for their mother. Regardless of him being a literal child molester, he was for sure a pedophile, he admitted to disgusting things. How those boys treated their mother is horrible. I have a really hard time believing that man didn't touch his kids. The fact his brother claims that he didn't molest him, when he admitted to it, and the brother turned out gay? This whole story is heartbreaking regardless. I actually sobbed at the end when Elaine hugged her son. The desolation of a family. The absolute horror and trauma. The worst thing the dad did in the end was to not admit it all to his sons. This left me feeling a deep sadness, and it barely touched the lives of the victims.

Tha'ts not true. There has been case after case where an entire group of kids lies. Their statemetns are usually so over the top as to be unbelievable, just like some.. of these accounts. But the kids accounts are ridiculous over the top entirely. This false memory things is very real.

They lie all the time. It's a proven fact. They want to tell you what you want to hear. So you have to be careful you don't lead them on with leading questions. Those law enforcement officers must've been very bad at what they do if they actually said that. BTW this family is guilty as sin.

There is a famous case from Sweden of two brothers 5 and 7y/o, who got convicted of murder of a 4 y/o. The brothers denied having anything to do with the murder but after many lengthy interviews they admitted to the crime and also how they did it. They were broken down by the police and slowly fed the information they wanted them to say. It wasn’t until 2017 that a documentary about the case was made in which the brothers were interviewed and claimed their innocence, and the interrogation videos from when they were children were included that the brothers finally got justice. A year later, after a lot of public outcry, the case got brought up again and the brothers were found innocent. Point is, kids lie. Especially in situations where they want to please adults. If the police and possibly the parents kept insisting that something must have happened and also told them what other boys had said, then it’s very possible that they lied.
