You can also do a roof seal bunker. Either placing roof on twig foundation surrounded by higher foundos. Or keep core evenly built and use half walls to make a floating inner floor. Seal it off. Use a floor hatch frame to hold the roof. Now you break hatch to open bunker.

Effective and simple. I build the same base on wipe day as a temporary starter, but somehow I never thought about adding a bunker. Thumb up! Yet I would never use that design for more than flanking/reserve base. The main reason is that it's very easy to guess where the main loot room is and just raid that room alone. Other thing is no protection against online raiders.

sure but it's not a huge base so it depends on your server but the people who can afford to raid you that way won't go for someone with a base your size if you don't pimp it out any more than this.

It’s a nice layout for sure but not something you could live out long term. You blow the front door and jackhammer the floor which doesn’t take long and many people would do to save boom since it makes the raid at least 8 rockets cheaper then you only have the 2x2 core to deal with.

My point to this is you could basically make a more spacious 2x2 with a few extra garage doors on the front for the same upkeep and more secure since your bunker will be open as well when you are online.

Imo its not that big off a deal as softsiding metal still takes quite some time as there is no close workbench and they first have to invest explosives making sound.

You can soft-side the bunker very easily with jackhammers after one door way. If you do this the base is ~6 rockets to almost all of your loot

I used a different way to build a bunker. I used 2 (Squares) creating a 1x2. With triangles on left & right side. *console friendly willjum 31 🚀 inspired base. Here I can raise 1 side and snap a roof to the foundation or keep the base even and do half walls to make a floating 🔺️floor (seal) it off then wall it use a floor hatch square. [Console doesn't have triangle roof] then roof it and open by destroying the hatch or foundation. *inspired by Evil wurst

In Rust if you are on a server that you have admin rights on "record.nameyouwant" and than "stop.recording" than when you are not connected to a server you can "play nameyouchose" and than in there with "debugcamera" you leave your body and can record yourself doing stuff.

When you raid someone, you have to destroy the TC (Tool Cupboard) to get the loot from it if it is locked, which it should be with this design. When you destroy it, it will drop a bag / stash on the ground with the loot in so you can get the loot. However, with this design, you cannot loot it as the vending machine blocks it once it is on the floor but, while it is not destroyed, if you have the code, you are able to use the TC to put loot inside. This also works for the barbeque with the gap to loot however you cannot lock the barbeque so it is just there for space efficiency. The loot room itself is not unlootable but rather the TC room.
