Superstar Saga. Last enemy fought is a ghostly Cackletta. Sure you just fought Bowletta to get there, but still, if we're going by "last enemy fought" then our games are expanded.

One of my favorite details is the blue businessman you “recruit” early on is the husband of one of the gossipers. I don’t know if the game says it before this but I found it after the flowers from Reclusa started popping up.

There are several enemies from previous games that aren't associated with Bowser. Like Capnaps or Sharkbones. Both of which are explicitly from other regions than the Mushroom Kingdom which raises a ton of questions

honestly one of my only complaint's about the story is some fact's are completely left out like recluse origin outside of he's done this before we know next to nothing about the guy like if he's done this before who stopped him? you telling me he ran out of energy and decided to egg himself for this long? don't seem possible also how and why was cozette corrupted? all I remember hearing was that she was apparently at the fourth lighthouse when it happened but we're never told how or why it happened

I think the point is that nobody EVER stopped him. He said that hes destroyed multiple worlds before concordia, and the game also states that when he runs out of power he turns into the egg, so no one has to necessarily defeat him for him to become an egg again. As for cozzete, she said that she found the egg in the lighthouse and reclusa said that it was fun brainwashing her, so ig she was just being controlled by the egg and end of story

I honestly don't think the world building is all that great. The thing that bugs me the most is how unclear it is exactly when the continent did split up, was it a week ago? A year ago perhaps? There are lots of signs and even books refering to places as islands, which is a bit weird

Bowletta is Bowser possessed by Cackletta. Dark Bowser is a genetic clone of Bowser made by the Dark Star after gobbling up his DNA. Shrowser… actually, I'm with you on that one, that guy is a glorified minigame.
