The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an open world action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the fifth main installment in The Elder Scrolls series, following The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 11, 2011.
The game's main story revolves around the player character and their quest to defeat Alduin the World-Eater, a dragon who is prophesied to destroy the world. The videogame is set two hundred years after the events of Oblivion, and takes place in the fictional province of Skyrim. Over the course of the game, the player completes quests and develops the character by improving skills. The game continues the open world tradition of its predecessors by allowing the player to travel anywhere in the game world at any time, and to ignore or postpone the main storyline indefinitely.

@Groisu I know about CHIM dreamsleve and the Godhead. My theory or really headcanon is that the Godhead is the player in a way where by buying an ES game you are creating that world and your player character achieves chim by using mods. BUT using too many mods messes up the game/disturbing the Godhead so you have to reset thus resetting the universe....but idk its all interesting or maybe the Godhead is an allegory for Michael Kirkbride or Todd Howard

If Parthuunax lived for millennia hidden among the mountains of Skyrim, then there should be no doubt that other dragons like Nafaalilargus still lived elsewhere, be they "mercenaries" or Alduin's faithful awaiting their ruler's return. Honestly, I hope we see another talkative dragon in TES6. They're so cool.

There are actually several dragons in Skyrim that are speculated to have been hidden survivors. The very first dragon you fight in game, Mirmulnir, is hinted to have been hiding in the mountains. Another dragon can be found in Blackreach. While Durnehviir is undead and trapped in soul cairn, he can still be considered a survivor of the Dragon War.

Tiber Septim had possession of the Numemidian. This is what that "skyscraper" Dagoth Ur was rebuilding was suppose to replicate. Except Tiber Septim conquered Tamriel and caused the Warp in the West. Dagoth Ur's knockoff never moved an inch. He actually caused the other 3 "gods" to lose their immortality and now the Dumner have no trump cards. How ironic that in his efforts to make his race the dominate one on Nirn with he as ruler, actually resulted in the complete and total annihilation of Dumner power as the loss of the Tribunal and the treaties signed with the Empire meant they had no standing army to defend themselves after the Legions returned to Cyrodil during the Oblivion Crisis. Their great champion, the Neraverine, traveled to distant Akavir, never to be seen again. And then the Argonians invaded to repay in kind what they had endured because of the Dunmer slave trade. And finally, Vivec losing his godhood meant his magic could no longer hold the meteor above Vivec City. It crashed into the surface, destroyed the city, and caused Red Mountain to erupt, destroying the entire island of Vvardenfell and spreading ash over the mainland of Morrowind for years. Needless to say, shouldn't have fucked with Azura.

@@justinfrazier9555 Talos got the Numid from a peace treaty with Morrowind, in which the ALMSIVI gave the numidium in exchange for semi-autonomy for the Dunmer People. After the Battle of Red Mountain, the ALMSIVI came into posession of it as it was formerly a Dwemer robot. Since they were the highest ranking surviving Chimer, they owned it and stored it for eras in case it was needed.

Considering Cyrus wasn't a Dovahkiin, teorically it should be possible for Naafalilargus to be back now that the others are returned. Also by old lore the dragons are always been there, rare but not lost and the nords knew it very well (Alduin is a god in the nordic pantheon) .... Also the Forebears did nothing wrong

Willow Tree Oh I totally agree with you. Bethesda has lowered down the entire lore of Skyrim (the old gods, the conflict between old and new holds, the knowledge of the nords about the ancient times) to make the game playable by more casual gamers. Of course everyone should be free to play a game without having to read 3637 pages of Lore but watering the lore down for those who are interested in it is an horrible move. Which is also kinda biting them back in credibility because they were like "nobody has seen dragons!" and then there are fucking dragons in TES Blades. And ESO. And Daggerfall. So like, what the hell means no dragons.

Not the same dragon, the dragon that appears flying under the alliance capitals is definitely not Naafalilargus. Naafalilargus has twisted horns, and is MUCH larger than the dragon that appears in cities.

The Dragon/Dwarf Fafnir is not Icelandic. Fafnismal doesn't really take place anywhere. He became a dragon due to his greed. His greed overtook him when he killed his father who had acquired a cursed ring (Andvaranaut) and treasure as payment for his sons death Otr. The giver of said treasure was of course Loki. It's a fun read, I do suggest it.

True but the Dragon Dynasties of Tamriel do seem to be more succesful and Naafalilargus was hired as a mercenary. They are similiarties with the Septims and some events in TES to GOT War of the Red Diamond=Dance of the Dragons Mede(They didn't war with the Septims,they do try to keep there legacy alive by using there Symbol)=Baratheon Mad Septim=Mad Targaryen War of Camoran the Usurper=I guess the Blackfyre rebellions or maybe Robert's Rebellion Dragonborn's return along with Alduin and the Dragons=Daenaerys Targaryen being able to hatch Dragon eggs in over 150 years Civil War=War of the Five Kings(Not much resemblence but it's triggered by a death of a king)

What would be more important to Talos/Tiber Septim? Whether or not he is worshipped? OR seeing that all he fought for, everything he accomplished, the lands he conquered, and the empire he founded, reclaimed and brought back to a kingdom under one banner? Ulfric and his army isn't honoring Talos by seceding from the empire and waging war against it. Did Tiber Septim unite Tamriel to become a divine? NO. His goal was and is the empire. I cannot speak for Talos, but I believe what was important to him was his empire lasting forever, not his worship.

I think 1) dragonborn becomes emperor 2) blades become dragonriders 3) stormcloaks rejoin empire 4)aldmeri declares war leading. In tes 6 you will probably be fighting the rebellion in hammerfell and pick between the crowns and the other dudes in which you either push the aldmeri out of hammerfell or a third party comes in and starts wrecking shit leading to a truce maybe another akaviri invasion or most likely extremely pissed off dwarfs who are 1) extremely pissed off and 2) actually dwarfs now

Tiber Septim lore was only created on TES III: Morrowind. The lore before that was very inconsistent between games and led to Bethesda having to use Dragon Breaks to explain it on the sequel games

Tbh im a bit tired of dragons. I like dragons and all but I think it would have been more interesting if they had a full scale Akaviri invasion. Somthing different. Weve been dealing with Skyrim and dragons for a decade and I rolled my eyes when bethesda announced a dragon dlc. I really like the Chapters of ESO but this one....I really just dont care

Well ZOS's reasoning for it was that they wanted to do a whole year based on what fans wanted (Dragons, Khajiit, Necromancer) so if its anything its just because people like dragons I suppose

@@matthewsmith4647 every small quest leads to you talking to Azura Mephala Clavicus Vile or Molag Bal in the end or no not fighting them no 99% of the time its just their champion or a glorified dungeon boss. I would prefer but it wont happen because this is a popular game for myself as the champion or whatever im clalled this time to have a 1v1 with a daedra and talk it out but nah thats too boring. Kids dont want to know the philosophical ideas Daedra have they want action. No expansion on each daedric prince behavior and how they view the universe or whatever just more bosses you could kill solo if you wanted to

A video detailing Tiber Septims life would be great! I know he was at Old Hrolden at some point, and then later after that he spent some time in Sancre Tor, unless he just left his armor there after the battle... seems like he probably lived there for at least some time. Speaking of Sancre Tor some insight on what the story was there would be great as well. I've googled it and from what I can find it was one of the main cities in Cyrodil and rivaled the imperial city in size and Remen Cyrodil was even born there and maybe even a child of Tiber's.... but then the blades condemn it and it just falls to ruin....

He was born in Alcaire, High Rock, where he learned the ways of the sword from its swordmasters. He then went to serve Cuhlecain, the King of Falkreath, who ordered him to aid the Nords in defeating the Reachmen at Old Hroldan. After this, Septim's eyes were set on Cyrodiil and the Nords and Bretons, fearful of the formation of another Empire, created the Nord-Breton Alliance and occupied Sancre Tor, challenging Talos to face them in battle. Here Tiber Septim defeated the Nord-Breton Alliance, largely thanks to the aid he got from the Blades. He gave the Blades his Armor, and the Blades, in turn, created a shrine for the armor in Sancre Tor. The reason the place is in ruins, is because of the Underking. When Tiber Septim betrayed Zurin Arctus by trapping his soul to power the Numidium, Zurin Arctus' soul in the form of the Underking cursed Sancre Tor. Tiber Septim sent some of his most valiant Blades to clear the ruins, but they failed, and since then it was decided to keep the ruins closed.

I feel like even if Alduin knew Nafaalilargus was dead and where he was buried, he still wouldn't resurrect him because Nafaalilargus committed possibly the greatest crime against Alduin he possibly could. Nafaalilargus pledged his loyalty not just to a Muz, but to a Dovahkiin, who are the greatest enemies of not just the Dov, but to Alduin himself. The worst part is that Nafaalilargus didn't even do it because he was threatened (that we know of) or offered anything that was truly worthwhile to a Dragon, nope! Tiber Septim merely offered Nafaalilargus shiny coins and he greedily accepted. To Alduin, Nafaalilargus was a traitor and was unworthy of being resurrected.

If we can ask for builds: What about one that incorporates the Legacy of the Dragonborn mod? Adds a museum in Solitude, you can put unique items (like artifacts, including ones from compatible mods) on display. There's a pretty good quest line too. Yes I'm holding out for this happening eventually.
