Aston Martin Racing is a partnership between Aston Martin and Prodrive established in 2004 to return Aston Martin to sports car racing. Motorsport is an integral part of Aston Martin's DNA, it's ingrained in its heritage, and the business uses its race program throughout its marketing to differentiate the brand from its competitors, by proving its product's performance credentials on the track. Since 2004, Prodrive has helped Aston Martin establish itself as a leading global sports car racing manufacturer by winning numerous Le Mans and ALMS races. Prodrive has taken Aston Martin to Le Mans for 17 consecutive years and helped them win five Le Mans titles. In its nine years and seven seasons of WEC, Aston Martin has recorded 47 class wins and 103 podiums, nine class championships, and five 24 Hours of Le Man's class victories. AMR is now planning to join the new FIA WEC's Le Mans Hypercar program soon.

Only reason why I watched this is because I love Aston’s. I had no idea how successful their racing division has been! Although I hear as of 2 august 2022, their F1 division isn’t doing great, but I have no idea. The only racing I like is world rallycross lol

Ooh right, that's an underrated GT3 racecar. The DBR9 GT1 of that era is more well-known and memorable than the GT3, including the V12 Vantage GT3 that replaced the DBRS9 GT3. The DBR9 GT1 made a bigger impact in racing compared to the GT3 version.

@@christheradar yea the did bud they raced in 2019 with the Vantage. But they only competed for one season they withdrew in 2020. They didn't do all that well in dtm. But great video you should continue to do these videos. Mercedes Benz has a long history Audi. Or maybe in the future do a group B rally video if thats what you like.
