There are few people on KZbin, hell, in media in general, that can tell a story like Summoning Salt. The editing is great, the pace, the well fitting music, the subject matter is interesting. The passion in his work is very evident. I don’t watch speedrunning, I don’t speedrun, and this is easily one of my favourite channels. I audibly said “f**k yeah!” when I seen this video on my subs. I feel you could share his videos with literally anybody and they’d find them interesting and entertaining.

As an update, last week a speedrunner called Suigi beat Slipperynip's record with a 14.55! Congrats to the Canadian! 😁👍 Update: WEEGEE JUST OVERWROTE HIS HEARTBREAKING MISTAKE WITH A WORLD RECORD OF 14.53! Update again: Good god, Suigi just destroyed Weegee's time! A 14.48! Update again again: This guy just never ceases to amaze. From 14.48 to 14.43!! Suigi well and truly the GOAT! It continues: Yes I'm still updating this comment and yes Suigi just keeps the records coming. 14.41 now, 9 seconds quicker than 2nd place! 🤯 Is it over: Well, this is insane. Suigi has just demolished his own world record with what could be the perfect 16 star speed run of 14.35!!!!! To quote the man himself "I literally can't beat that. I didn't make a mistake"! Is the 16 star category now officially dead competitively? Or will Suigi or someone else return to defy the impossible? Only time will tell...

I love how they figured out ways to rule out cheated runs. Mario has a universal blink cycle. Every 64 frames he blinks no matter what. You can tell something is a segmented run if that gets out of sync.
