I dont support any team but if i were to support any team it might just be Blackburn Rovers. I was just getting into football when Blackburn were in their ascendancy circa 95/96 so i have a fondness for them. Many ppl will expect the club to achieve top flight status within a few years but pppl need to curb that expectant outlook. No team has a divine right to elite status and Rovers are no different. The Championship is so competitive and hopefully Blackburn can find enough consistency to gain promotion to the highest echelon of English football.

Why do Venkateshwara still own Rovers? Must be some sort of tax write-off or money laundering, because they show zero interest in the club and do the bare minimum to keep it going. Rovers were one of the best-run clubs in the Premiership, now they're a cash-strapped straggler in the lower leagues.

I fear for the club under the current owners , all signings are loan signings, keep player for 6 months then they get recalled to their parent club, can certainly see next year going down if this continues, geographically its a tough area to compete for attendences with both Manchester clubs 35 mins drive away and Anfield not much further. What I do see now has really affected clubs like Blackburn, Bolton, Preston, Rochdale and Bury, adults and kids follow their premier league team on tv, are lucky if they know how to get to the ground never mind watch a game there, these people should be supporting thier local teams and watching live football , always makes me shake my head when I hear a southern accent saying I support MAN U, go and support your local team they need your money, not sky sports.

good vid but In think you skipped a few years we were decent under Hughes, top 10 for about 3-4 years, that's when people realized we were a decent club trying that could attract good players. we were a hard team to beat
