Awesome review mate very well presented. I came across the vests by hit air hit which are great but now considering picking up the whole jacket which works out cheaper rather than getting a jacket from another brand + hit air vest since I just got my bike licence. I'm surprised there is not much content with the hit air products so you did very well. thanks again and keep safe. greetings from NZ!

Hello Andrea, I'm happy to hear that my assistance was beneficial to you. If given the opportunity, I would have opted for a more suitable version for the tropical weather. Nevertheless, wearing it does provide a sense of reassurance. Congratulations on obtaining your license, and enjoy the rides!

are 250 milliseconds fast enough ??? they are some jackets which inflate in 80 milliseconds, so my only doubt is, will it open before you touch the ground. if you fly over, sure it opens, but if someone lose the front end, is is also then fast enough ?

I'm currently looking at these jackets and I'm really curious if the non-mesh jacket is a sauna or not in OZ conditions? Any info would be appreciated, or maybe an update/long-term jacket review? There isn't much out there on the hit air jackets.

Yeah it is a bit warm at lower speeds in summer, I'd call it a good tropical winter jacket 🤠👍

Do you wear armor in addition to the jacket?
@brownies-midlifeadventure53333 жыл бұрын
Just the shoulder and elbow pads... I haven't put in a back pad. Most of the time I'm wearing a camel pack (loosely) and should I come off that I'd need to use a back pad, well the airbag should do the trick....

@@brownies-midlifeadventure5333 I'm thinking about picking up the mesh version too, but I don't see any info on their website about the abrasion resistance and armor. I'm hoping based on the "klim" quality that it will be fine.

@@aka_pierre I had a good look at the BMW jackets and I'd say it's easily on par with them. The jacket has all the options for adding armor in the front, the back, and you can also upgrade the shoulder and elbow pads too. I've now have about 8,000 klm's of off-highway use with it and it's still as new as the day I got it (a tad bit dirtier tho :-)
