Allan Clarke, Tommy Hicks, and Graham Nash, they still got it. This song is so timeless, one if not there iconic Hollies songs. @@travis8665 aww... Bless you!!! Thank you for sticking up for me Travis. It's a tough one for sure, stepping into a band as a frontman, you can never replace the original, all you can do is help the other guys carry on playing the music they created and love to play in the best way you can. Tony and Bob wanted to continue the band' and why shouldn't they. For the people who love Alan I totally understand. I obviously am not he... And cannot satisfy their needs. But...For the people who love the songs, Bobby's drumming, Tony's guitar and the fab songs, I can help that along.... And I do it with immense pride and respect for those who have gone before me. Long may we continue.... I would say before you condemn, please come to a gig, then pass judgement, you may even enjoy it...? Happy Christmas to all.... be safe out there!
@jfmt35923 жыл бұрын
I agree with Travis. Yes, Allan was ‘The Hollies’ and he was great the everlasting sounds of the 60/70’s but that doesn’t mean that Peter couldn’t do justice to a beautiful song let’s not be mean to singers he put his own interpretation on this song, good on him I say. 😃😘

For goodness sake when an original lead singer leaves a band there is always going to be comparisons, ) for example...Neil Finn replacing Lyndsey Buckingham in Fleetwood Mac,the fact that Peter Howarth has stepped up to take over this role still gives us the opportunity to keep hearing and seeing this band in concert (pre covid) enjoying this wonderful bands music after all these years, Peter your doing the band and yourself proud still after the original members began! Music that actually means something, I saw the Hollies here in Sydney Australia a few years ago and it was a wonderful night! Keep on rockin Pete (and band)""If I Could Make A Wish""....👌👍
